@russelblackwell6041 hey Russ, I think they have a place in certain cars, but hopefully this one will be an exception for you haha, long term it's going to be properly painted, but for now the easy way is to do faded paint, I think it should look good for the time being, cheers buddy!
@jamesreardon8585 yeah was a bit of a mis match Reardo, but it turned out decent, I had to chop the wheel tubs on the inside though, I'll have to weld patch sections on that too now haha , cheers 🍻
The old truck is slowly coming together eh twisty, I was looking at the tub thinking how to deal with the gap and my idea, no good now, was to turn it around and cut off the front and back and weld them back on the opposite ends, then take some out of the middle. Your idea was probably easier. My other idea would be to lift the front clip up, at the front, a bit to level it out. Anyway it looks bloody good from 6000k's away haha. Cheers from NZ, Phil.
@philb386 not a bad idea Phil, this way seemed to work decent enough I reckon luckily, 6000ks away haha, maybe don't come any closer as it might not look as good haha 😉 😜
Great content. loving the look.

Great progress clever man I'm sorry I hate patina cars but you're doing justice to this thanks for sharing, mate.
