I always thought about that too-the frustration of not being able to catch the light. I read in a book that when they are on top of the light to throw a treat in that area. I tried that and then all they wanted was the treat and did not want to follow the light anymore. Anyway, thanks again for another great video!!
Oh, shoot . . . (๑☉ _ ☉) Thank you for your insight! I've heard that laser toys can lead to frustration for cats, but had no idea of the harm it can cause, like the OCD-like or destructive behaviors! Would it be okay to alternate play with a laser toy and physical toy? That's what I've been doing for the past few years, but now I'll be thinking twice . . . (๑⚆﹏⚆)
It's easy to forget they are hunters because they are so darn cute coupled with their hypnotic purrs that train humans to be their servant.

Exactly! I'm philosophically opposed to any game that the cat can never win.
My thoughts exactly!
When I use a laser toy, the hunt ends with a treat so they get a reward.
That's great! It isn't the same as catching something in their mouth, though.

It would be best to toss the laser and offer all play with physical toys. :)
@@KittyHelpDesk Okay! I definitely won't be buying any more laser toys! (๑˃ ‸ ˂๑) Thank you for taking time to reply! (๑•‿•๑)
