As crazy as it sounds.... I actually think AJ has a chance of winning.

I agree mate. Dunno what people are on about.
I don’t hate this fight because it’s lost its competitiveness
I just find it a shame that it’s lost SO much importance
But yeah man. Joshua, i think I make him favourite going in. I think he hurts Fury

I totally agree. Fury being the biggest narcissist no longer has the mental edge, and he's only in it for the money and some kind of self deluding bs. AJ on the other hand is motivated much more by the sport and is a lot more of a realistic thinker. I see AJ very likely beating Fury and I would love to see that

it's really not crazy. It could really go many ways, Fury could outbox and embarass him, he could even KO AJ especially if his chin really has gone (debatable, took a big big shot from DD in the first round that cold KO anybody), but AJ could defo catch Fury and KO him too. Nothing is a foregone conclusion. It would be foolish to predict any big HW boxing fight with absolutism

After a certain threshold its all about more more more..look at the oligarchs n elites ..they can easily stop working..they got enough for 10 lifetimes..but they dont..this is the addiction of accumalation.

If they retired without fighting each other people would complain and hold it against them always, now if they do fight people will still moan. The window is closing but if they fight in 2025, they're still both mid 30s, not too old. And the timing might not work out too bad, AJ coming off a first KO loss, Fury coming off b2b defeats, makes it pretty hard to predict how this fight would play out. Financially it still sells out Wembley imo, still does great on PPV, giant names & the public would still be enamoured with this fight, especially after the hype and publicity it will get. They can tick this fight off, maybe a rematch if it's a good fight, then retire with decent resumes imo

I think it can be a legitimate fight. Diminished skills, a bit of wear and tear and loss of lustre between the two fighters can actually enhance a contest at times.
It still has appeal and would round off the era nicely. At this stage I'd also make Fury a heavy favourite but he looked visibly aged after the second Usyk defeat. You just never know.

I've figured out why I think AJ will beat Fury. It's because AJ recently has been reluctant to throw hard punches and really commit. Now, if he fights Fury, he is gonna be annoyed by Fury's antics over the years, and he'll have the anger he needs to ko Fury

    • @mikeadams7904

He will need more than anger. I can see fury making him miss and pay

Fury has no ability to do to AJ what Dubois did. Dubois is an aggressive pressure fighter who wants to get in close and make it a dogfight. That's kryptonite for AJ. Fury, for all his talk and people encouraging him to do it, is not a pressure fighter who can get in close and maul you with heavy, accurate punching. That guy showed up for a couple of fights versus an F tier boxer in Wilder who had no answers whatsoever. And that Fury disappeared as soon as the third Wilder fight was over.
Both guys chins are cracked at this point. AJ punches much harder than Fury. The math ain't too difficult to work out there. Fury can maybe out-box AJ, staying on the outside, but even those skills are severely diminished. AJ will eventually land a good shot or two. And if Usyk has you stumbling about the place like a baby deer, AJ will turn your lights out.
Also, just as an interesting aside, even though Usyk said Fury was his toughest British opponent, when asked he said he thought AJ would beat Fury.

based on their last performances Fury should win but things change quickly in boxing. Before their last fights, a lot of people were favouring AJ over. Boxing is not a sport you can predict very well

If it gets made next it’s a Monster of a fight. Warren, Hearn and Turki promotion overdrive. Will be huge. Fury favourite, 2 loses he deeply believes he won. (He didn’t) He has real Belief he won. AJ got splattered. And he knows it. Different belief mind set. It should be a great grudge match, AJ has to go for KO and will get schooled by a fury’s skills. Fury by late stoppage. 11/12th round.

Flabs looked heavy n dejected for usyk..will he be motivated to fight the less than usyk fighters? DDD could do a number on flabs too..if Nganouu can drop him with his limited skills why not DDD who has the skills n the power.n if Flabs think he won both fights he will go into all these fights ,business as usual, believing his own hype n he may be in for a rude awakening.thrs a very good chance he goes the wilder way..being beaten in the latter stages of his career by ppl who can handle themselves.Joe maybe he has something left..but its like in gaming..you play for 100s of hours n u lose ur saved data..as good as the game is ..u just dont have the motivation to start again. His biggest shouting point was lineal n his 0 n thats gone now.AJ has come to terms with reality but flabs is in denial..n when ur in denial thrs a risk of being stuck in the past.Even tho AJ's loss was far more devastating, Flabs is carrying more emotional baggage.its a good fight since thrs nothing else really sheduled then..

He was gun shy after Klitschko. Mid range when he let his hands go with no fear he was terrifying and beautiful to watch. His best fight was the Klit fight which was an all time classic but he avoided Fury , Wilder and Ortiz or his management did, rightly so.

Fury is merely diminished by age and hard living. Joshua is well on the way to developing a syndrome.

    @JKBeta1021 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Yeah I don’t think AJ has diminished that much physically, the Dubois loss was more of a mix of terrible strategy, questionable mindset and a bad style matchup. However, I wonder how he’ll be mentally and physically after being knocked out like that. Fury I think has diminished a bit in terms of his chin. I don’t think he’d be able to get up from those shots from the first Wilder fight anymore. And I wonder how he’ll be mentally after losing two times to Usyk; if it’ll make him lock in or question himself

Don’t feel like Fury could hurt AJ, despite what DD did. Fury certainly should be the favorite and has advantages in almost every category, save power….. Still, I think it’s a competitive fight

Fury has arguably lost his last 3 fights, or at least well below par against Ngannou and not becoming of a World Champion v a novice. I think the Fury in Usyk2 beats AJ but who knows…I’d be interested to see it.

Its a legitimate fight. It’s just drenched in SHAME of it being so late.
    I find it so sad
Im SURE I would gather some more excitement in the build up
I also seem to be disagreeing with popular opinion as to who the favourite is.
Do you MASSIVELY favour Fury Joe?
I would have in 2020 but in 2025? I really dont think so.
I have many reasons for this but you know what mainly sways me towards Joshua.
Its joshuas opinion of Furys ability over the years. I always prick my ears up when I hear fighters talk about other fighters. Especially these two …now
I have always got the impression that AJ is not convinced how good Fury is. I think when he DOES praise Fury, that he does so purely so he doesn’t appear to be clueless about spotting fighters talents.
I think with a roll the dice attitude and a lack of respect towards Fury will be the PERFECT strategy for Joshua to punch his lights SPARK OUT.
Not to bite on his feints. Just to charge him
Fury just doesn’t PUNISH his opponent for biting on these feints enough. They are becoming more pointless as he ages.
Listen I am Fury fan but….
    2020 Fury 75/25 Joshua
    2025 Joshua 75/25 Fury
I seem to be in a massive minority with this as well.
I would just ask what everyone’s criteria for Favoriting Fury IS exactly?
When you weigh up things like
    Resumes
    Common opponents
    Recent form
    Physical deterioration
    Mental deterioration
What exactly makes Fury tick more boxes than Joshua?
Im sticking with Joshua but again rooting for Fury
Just like I did going into both Usyk fights
But we shall wait for the opinions of
David Haye & Duke Mckenzie to see if I’m right or not 😆

In my opinion, the problem with Fury vs Joshua is that it will be a very short fight. Both have shown problems with their punch resistance, therefore whomever lands the hardest punch on the chin first wins.. It is that kind of a fight. Fury is now as gun shy as Joshua is. For those reasons I say it is a 50/50 fight Joe.

I actually think the way Joshua responded to adversity in the Dubois fight bodes well for him going forward. Especially against Fury who doesn’t punch as hard as Dubois. Joshua may have finally been ‘baptised by fire’ so to speak and seemed to come to terms with getting hit in that fight and went out going all out for the kill. He may have quite literally just had the anxiety beaten out of him.
