I loved the Nightingale too, seriously so good! The Last Bookshop in London was really good for a historical fiction novel.
I just read the Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom and it was the best book I’ve ever read. Not a fiction, but reads like one. Such an amazing true story of her and her family during WW2 and her love for the Lord. Truly a must-read!

I grew up in Big Bear and just recently moved to Kentucky and although we were in the mountains in big bear so it’s very different then where you are, my kids always tell me how Kentucky reminds them so much of San Diego.

I really love Kristen Hannah books. I am currently reading The Bungalow by Sarah Jio. There is a review from Kristen on the cover which sold me. It's about nurses in the South Pacific during WWII. It's kind of a romance/mystery. I'm really enjoying it!

I love historical fiction! I really liked The Huntress by Kate Quinn (same author as the Alice Network and Rose Code). The German Wife by Kelly Rimmer (another WWII) and Victoria by Daisy Goodwin are good too!
I’m in PA.. it’s been warmer lately - 40/50s some days it’s been hitting 60, like today 😂 that’s no coat weather for us haha
Unrelated but we started watching The Chosen on Prime and it’s good!

Hey Kendra, I loved seeing the morning Vlog. I actually need to have a routine for work because on some days it's hectic because I have to be ready by a certain time. But I know for the weekends I don't really have one since I get to sleep in from a long week of work. The before & after shots of the cleaning/organizing in the video were fantastic! I actually did a lot of dishes and a load of laundry when I got home from work because the past two days I was busy right after work. The weather I have right now is cold but I hope it warms up soon.

Here in Kansas City, we are enjoying some warmer temperatures around 60 degrees. That is unheard of in January/February. It is suppose to continue into next week. It is a welcome change from the deep freeze and ice we had a few weeks back.

I love historical fiction too! My favorite is probably The Book of Lost Names! But there are so many good ones, it’s hard to choose one favorite.

I am in southeast Michigan. It is 42 and cloudy right now so that is not very cold for us. This winter has been a mix of very very cold with snow then a few days of warmer like 42-58 and raining. Haven’t seen any hint of sun in a very very very long time. I do get a little down. It’s all relative!!! I’m sure you legit feel cold in weather we’d wear shorts in haha but that’s okay! Warm and cold is relative truly.

Check out Sarah Sundin if you like to read WW2 books. She's a great writer. I like these types of videos.😊
