- Jon & Adrienne Leedahl had been serving on the mission field in Papua New Guinea when tragedy hit. Accompanied by his wife, Adrienne, Jon Leedahl was rushed on an emergency medevac flight from Papua New Guinea to Australia, facing the amputation of one leg and an arduous painful physical recovery. Jon says "At first when I look at this accident it appears to be evil, not peace! But then I have to remember that the Lord sees the eternal perspective. There is a reason this happened and it has eternal benefits. I may not understand it completely this side of heaven, but I can rest in the fact that the Lord has a plan and a purpose."

The opposite would be to magnify the problem, so if we’re wondering how to “just glorify Him” … we can start with refusing to do the opposite. Thank you for your testimony.

The devil comes to kill steal and destroy but Jesus comes to give life and life more abundantly John 10:10. The god of this world is the caused of this accident. No God did allow this and never desired this accident. The devil is going around seeking whom he may devour. We need to walk under the protection of the blood of Jesus. The early believers broke bread daily from house to house and applied the blood over every situation. What the devil planned through evil,God will turn for our good. Nothing can separate us from the love of God
Is God struggling to get over to the physical plane to talk to us? Do we have to leave our body to talk to him?
The nurses dream to list universal donors, and her obedience to make up the list of them ahead of time, was incredible, and finding those empty blood bags WOW.
God's in control of everything
For He created us to glorify Him

You two are the perfect example of the scripture “in everything give thanks...”. May God continue to keep you and lead you into all truth; taking the whole gospel (Acts 2:38) to the whole world.
My husband’s situation was pretty much the same. My husband got pinned between 2 cars while standing behind his car. shattered his left leg, amputate above the knee. His right leg broke into many pieces, hospitalized for 3 months, with 11 surgeries, but God took him through it all. With God all things are possible

@Kristen Huynhvu With skilled medical people like nurses, doctors and medications, many things are possible, and if this god was looking after Mr HuynYooHoo, he would not have ended up in this mess to start with. Maybe the god was too busy finding folks car keys. If only he did not find the other driver's keys, the outcome would have been different.

The story you are supposed to imagine is that a god taught the doctors and other professional care staff what to do, and the same god helped the drunk, who was full of the holy spirit, find his keys and forgot to tell him not to drive.
The fellow was in PNG on a mission to confuse the indigenous people to drop their superstitious beliefs and adopt different ones.
It is understandable why the people do not trust their government when it allows religious lunatics to spread nonsense in the guise of aid. Subsequently, trust in legitimate health authorities is devastatingly low.
The anti-vax idiots on social media can inflict their deceptive nonsense upon the PNG folks more effectively than the medical people who attempt to distribute the Covid shots. There are loads of vaccines available, and only a 2% take-up.
It would appear as though a god is not too interested in the well-being of PNG people. Killing them off might be one of the ways a god, who mysteriously moves like Jagger, is doing something good.

The people on this site are so blessed to have their chosen god bring your dose of reason into the discussion. I wonder if they will thank their god for your contribution like they did for their chosen motorbike man who the same god allegedly removed his leg as a beneficial activity.
They use a double standard if they do not acknowledge how their god sent you here to help them grow up and drop their superstition.
In summary, a god snapped a dude's leg, which is a good thing, and the same god sent you to guide these folks.
By this reasoning, your input has to be a good thing.
I am sure you (and/or their god) will get all the praise and thanks.
Your interest and contribution is a blessing if the religious can see it without blinkered eyes.

I have seen God several times in my troubles.
Please tell me why god can flood earth but is watching thousands of babies and children die from starvation in Africa? God could have fixed this with just a few inches of rain.
@@johnward6976 This and many other questions are often asked and only God can answer why he allows bad to happen. Bad and evil happen to good people, even Christians, it is heartbreaking what some people have to deal with. So much cannot be explained supernaturally or scientifically, we have the freedom to choose a relationship with God, based on faith. It may seem irrational to go down this path, but I, and countless others, will testify to the the incredible journey and peace that only comes with accepting Jesus into your life.
Until you do, sitting on the sidelines and questioning his reality is your choice and you will never experience his power until you seek or you are fortunate enough to have it thrust upon you. Hang in there John

If God is love and has any control over events on earth, these atrocious, and horrific things couldn't possibly happen to innocent people that don't deserve the pain. Blind faith doesn't begin to answer the question.

Gods thoughts are not our thoughts. To me at least, glorifying God means to acknowledge Him in all His works and to reject the evil one who has deceived humanity since the very beginning.

Thank you so much for your testimony it is deeply touched me when I was 11 I almost lost my left leg due to a bicycle injury but the Lord worked a miracle as he has been working miracles in my whole throughout my whole life and so I just want to say thank you to Jesus for saving me and for saving you and giving you hope to his love and that he is paid our price for suffering and our pain and I just pray that he continues to shine his miracles upon you in your life God bless you!!

@@gknight4719 God created this world perfect and devoid of suffering but mankind’s rebellion resulted in the fallen world and fallen mankind evidenced all around us.
Only the goodness of God provided a way of escape and forgiveness for whoever accepts the labour of love of the perfect Son of God who sacrificed Himself for us. Bearing the punishment for our wrong doing in His own body on the cross. Taking the consequences of our sin; ie death and hell for us. And offering us the gift of restored fellowship with God and eternal life spent with Him.
What more do you want Him to do? He gave us free will.

God once told me in a tragic situation...."Faun, its for me to understand and not you"! I've held on to that message for years and it's got me through a lot! You and your wife are a powerful testimony to this very message, your faith shines and Jesus is written all over you both. Amazing testimony to true Christian faith and trust that God has it all!!!
