Perfectly encapsulates the complete unadulterated terror the Lunarians must've felt during Junko's invasion, especially with how she was out to destroy every single one who stood in her way all just to bring Chang'e's demise.....

This music shows that Junko would kill anybody just to kill Chang'e. She doesn't care about the Lunarians or how good of a creature you are. You'll die if you ever get in her way of killing Chang'e.

sorry but, don't the spellcard rules work around not being to kill your opponent, or in that matter, harm them with you attacks, so how would she kill anyone in that matter, i am deeply sorry that i don't have a touhou lore PHD so yeah, this whole spellcard thingie is really confused.

Yes the spellcard prevents murdering and make things fair. But Junko here seems as she tries to denfy the Spellcard rules. We don't see the typical beautiful bullet pattern like the other bosses in the other games. What we see is a hard spellcard battle that was originally gonna kill you if the rules weren't put into place. Am sure in the midst of the lines in the game, that the hero's would've been dead if it weren't the help for Eirin.
@@Mari_Intothestaircase That's not just junko, any lunarian with a deep sense of pride won't adhere to the spell card rules(except Hecatia, she was playing around) I don't know why sagume and clownpiece followed the rules, but in Silent sinner in deep blue, yorihime and toyohime showed no knowledge on the spellcard rules.
Based. I don't get why she want's to kill Chang'e though, Chang'e s husband killed her son, not Chang'e herself. She already got her revenge by killing Houyi.
This work popped up on my playlist today and lightened my lunar new year a little. It might sound melodramatic but I feel I can somewhat relate to Junko in that vengeance keeps me going. In short, my homeland Manchuria has not been freed from the worst suffering ever; it is the only other region in the world with black soil that suffered famine from authoritarian administration commands.
(I named my youtube account 'wulerhaufung' after the same Manchurian dialect word which means 'lunatic reactions/behaviors out of rage'.)
Back to the music, the chords give off a sense of 'encroaching sacredness'. It's similar to Angels in Evangelion approaching.

This menacing and sinister arrangement really does do Junko’s nature as an astral being composed purely out of anger, hatred and misery justice.
This feels like a party of four or so running through junkos residency but at 5:40 hallucinations or those holograms from the division begin showing her past. At the very end the party open a door to see junko holding something in her hands from her boy
This always makes me think about that one scene from 'The Last Airbender' when Zuko fought against Zhao.

@@goyavoyage I can see the middle end being an actual dark cloud song. But most of it sounds like it'd need some editing to it to fit in. And maybe the end being like an after boss fight dialogue when you finish off the boss.
