  • The fifth season of "Young Sheldon" continues to tell the story of the growth of a genius boy. In this season, little Sheldon enters college and gradually transforms from a child into a young adult, and the roles of his family also undergo subtle changes.
A highlight of the season is Young Sheldon's exploration of the word "sex," and his first mention of monkeypox, episodes that showcase both his curiosity and social reality. At the same time, the appearance of the child goddess Peggy adds a touch of brightness to the plot. The interaction between her and Little Sheldon not only stole his attention, but also highlighted Little Sheldon's luck and misfortune in comparison.
This season isn't all about laughter, however. Mary and George's marital crisis becomes a major attraction. The relationship between the two becomes increasingly gloomy, and George's ambiguous relationship with his neighbor Brenda adds fuel to the fire. This complex emotional entanglement makes the audience have deeper thoughts about marriage and morality.
In addition, the stories of other members of the family are equally fascinating. Missy's high emotional intelligence, Georgie's business acumen, and Sheldon's high IQ all add to the plot.

Within reason. It's useless taking a job you simply are not capable of.

My cousin graduated from Mercer University as Software Engineer & tried to get a job at a company but was told they were only Hiring from Georgia Tech & engineers with H-1B visas. All that hard work, dedication, stress & money. And they’re just hand those jobs to foreigners

I met my middle school gym teacher working at walmart in my home town after he got let go from the school 40 min away. He did not look happy and i didnt mention recognizing him. Wouldnt have done either of us any good.

Nearly all my high school teachers ended up at local stores or the grocery store over the years, after the school closed up there just wasn't any other jobs they could do or that they were qualified for. One or two went to a nearby school for a bit but got pushed out by younger, better trained teachers who supported the 'modern' agenda I suppose. After about 5 years, none of them were still teaching, a good many had passed on as well.

Foolish letting pride get in the way. Apply for work while you're still employed, least you're getting paid.

Scenes like this make me astoudned people think George is the perfect parent. His pride has always been one of his greatest weaknesses, he's down for the count and everyone's depending on him but he refuses to do anything other than what he's done on principles that are as good as his current income...meanwhile she did everything to support him and help him find work. I'm at least glad that he got his job back and they made it work in the meantime.

I can barely afford rent as it is

If ur raking in 70K at 60-80 hours as an engineer you must be lousy or stupid enough to take a position that’s not paying you your worth
