That was wonderful: the pianissimo high Bs; the shaping of it in general. It's probably not appropriate in a concert setting but I expect you could carry off Bizet's written ending brilliantly: only a high A but that long, long dying away on the E ("souven...ir"). The stage directions are, after all: il s'étend sur une natte et s'endort.
J’ajoute un petit bémol sur interprétation il faudrait peut-être en mettre un tout petit peu de souffle dans la voix pour donner plus de réalité aux sentiments et à la fin ne pas faire le ténor qui doit tenir sa note coûte que coûte et non cette heure là on doit laisser la voix c’est tendre tout doucement☺️ Encore bravo magnifique

How long did it take to practice and study to sing like this?

Je trouve que l'interprétation au piano ne met pas en valeur cette magnifique chanson. Pour le chanteur c'est autre chose, car c'est splendide.
Primitive phrasing. Such unmusical singers today. They are clueless about proper management of breath. The forte ending is gross.
