Ash runs across both Pidgey and Pidgeotto, and though I forget which, one of them is eating a worm out of the ground (like birds usually do) when Ash finds it. 2 - Noble says ball gag with the Gardevoir/Correct Gaming Posture meme, but given the rest of Gardy's appearance in the second pic my mind saw a mini-microphone.

@@firepuppies4086 Everything else lays eggs in the Pokemon world, even Pokemon that appear to be mammals. Therefore, one would assume humans also lay eggs by this logic.
For that egg group thing: I believe the reason humans aren't in any pokemon's egg group is the same reason why they can't be caught in a pokeball, use moves, etc: because they don't have enough sufficient whatever that is that powers pokemon's vitality, moves, etc. However, since pure Aura is somehting that can be used by a lot of pokemon, most notably the Lucario line, AND some humans can indeed use Aura given enough potential and training, it might not be too far of a stretch to assume that these Aura-adept humans can infact breed with similarly Aura adept pokemon. This might also tie to the "previously humans and pokemon are the same" lore. This means it's theoretically plausible for a Lucario to mate with Sir Aaron, Ash Ketchum, and similar Aura-adepts. If that girl has a hint of Aura in her, she's fucked, literally.
...about the poke ball thing... It is likely just a failsafe that it can't catch people, in an Sun and Moon episode Prof. Faba accidentally shrunk Ash and a few others with the same technology that's used in pokeballs.
There was a throw away like in manga where they Say pokeballs have a safety SO they cant be use on humans , and a i belive there is a episode of Pokémon where Satoshi was shrinked down with the same tech from a pokeball

Yea, almost every Pokemon movie that came out just before a new generation and season was released, had a pokemon from the next generation as a sort of tease. Such as Zorua and Zoroark being from Unova but the movie they first showed up in ,Zoroark - Master of Illusions, was the last movie to take place in Sinnoh.
As far back as the first episode of the anime, we were shown there were more than 151 Pokemon, because Ash saw Ho-Oh overhead. Then, before the end of their journey in Kanto, Misty hatched Togepi. And for that matter, most, if not all seasons show off Pokemon from the next gen shortly before ending, not just the movies. Ash lost the Johto league to a Blaziken, for example, and May had a Munchlax.

10:36 **Pushes up glasses** Actually, pokemon was supposed to be based after some kind of post apocalyptic event on earth, animals died off, humans survived, and pokemon appeared. That's why kanto, johto, hoenn and sinnoh are really close to real japanese locations and why every game has a professor researching pokemon.

Alright, I just looked on Bulbapedia really quick, and I appreciate how the artist at 9:42 paired the concerned trainers with Human-Like Pokémon, while the last guy was simply with a bipedal one. While his reaction can just be taken as a comedic reversal (especially with Meowscarada's reaction), I have trouble leaving well enough alone, so here's my headcanon on this difference: The answer to their question is generally "no", most Egg Groups cannot produce viable eggs with humans. However, the Human-Like Egg Group specifically is still hotly debated among researchers, as it has been observed that of all known cases where trainers and their Pokémon "exceed maximum Friendship" (wink, wink), that egg group is involved in the vast majority. Even the runner-up, Field, which is equal to all other egg groups' reports combined, is still a somewhat distant second. Additionally, in most egg groups' reportings (even Field), it's usually the bipedal Pokémon that are observed in such relations, although exceptions are known to exist. By contrast, every known Pokémon in the Human-Like egg group has been reported at least once, with Gardevoir reportings in particular being speculated as the tipping point for Galar researchers reclassifying that line as Human-Like, rather than strictly Amorphous like most researchers initially observed. Them's just my two cents though, I don't see Game Freak directly addressing this matter EVER.
@@bloodwolfgaming9269 Probably. It's not anything relevant to what Game Freak wants to do with this universe, but like I said, once I get an idea stuck in my head, I have trouble just letting it pass. So yeah, I am absolutely overthinking this matter, but it's still interesting to speculate.

The human-like egg group could be distant humanity's relatives, but humans evolved into a separate thing from other Pokemon ages ago. It'd be like if a real-world human tried to mate with bears, but only after evolving separately the squirrel-like mammals that appeared after the Cretaceous, of course it wouldn't work. The ever-present all-ancestor Mew, though...

Two things, one, there is A "human" egg group. Also, pokemon red and I think Fire red makes A LOT of references to indian elephants(check Raichu's entry for an example) within the pokedex. So actual animals are canon to the pokemon world and, consider Human/Pokemon Romances ARE canon to the pokemon world.... you tell me.
In the first season, there was a diff between real animals and pokemons, both existing as common animals and others as fantasy to train and battles. But since jhoto the common ones had already been deleted to be all pokemons, for example hamburguers were now made of milktanks or tauros
10:42 when pokemon first came out in Japan, the official guide book that wasn't released in USA confirmed that regular animals existed in the pokemon world but were dying off. Then professor oak discovered 60 pokemon
3:39- Yeah, if it's a driffloon you have to worry about not being able to fly away, since they aren't strong enough to lift children, let alone adults.
the answer to the title and thumbnail is "theoretically " yes. there is an in game book stating that at one time humans and pokemone were once the same, so with all the magical craziness, it stands to reason that if both parties want it badly enough the pokemons latent DNA may awaken allowing for compatibility. regardless the likelihood is astronomicaly low.
To be fair, its the most terrifying when someone is visibly angry and just goes completely still, before looking up at you with a smile that says your lifespan can be measured in minutes, or seconds if they're feeling merciful that day.
09:55 Well, unfortunately, I'm gonna explain. Humans *once* were able to marry and interbreed with Pokemon. However, they gradually lost this ability, but the abilities of Pokemon still run strong in some families, such as the telepathic/telekinetic abilities that pop up randomly from those with Ghost or Psychic heritages, the unusual or unnatural strength and stamina of those who have Rock, Metal or Fighting ancestries, so on and so forth.

well it dubios at best, but 9:32 in game universe logic if a pokemon show you well interest wink wink, it means you are in their egg group.... according to the logic of the daycare dialogues. which is that they prefer to play with others (they arent in the same egg group) in the manga, which I don't remember one, there is a throw line about pokeballs having a safety so they can't be use on humans, which imply a lot of things including that humans are in fact in the pokemon egg groups, which one? anyone guess, but human are in it the anime is the only media that doesn't have a "implication" of this, but I mean we have 2 pokemons that clearly were into satoshi, so the anime is the most sutil on all of this

Marill and Snubull from the short that came before that movie? just curious as to why Donphan specifically?

Yes I said that, meant it in a rhetorical question sense, "because... you know... episode 1 ring any bells?" kind of thing lol.
@@IgnatiusBlaze4 Just confirming for you.
2 things:
1 - There is at least one example of real-world creatures in Pokemon I know of, and that is an early episode of the 1st season.
There are also some tropical fish and the pokedex constantly referring to normal animals.
@IsmaelSantos-xv9qf This is true, I forgot sometimes the pokedex does refer to actual wildlife, thx for the reminder
There's also some animals visible in the backgrounds of old TCG cards. Iirc there's some cows in one and a chicken in another.

There was a throw away like in manga where they Say pokeballs have a safety SO they cant be use on humans , and a i belive there is a episode of Pokémon where Satoshi was shrinked down with the same tech from a pokeball
i wouldn't mind conducting that kind of research if I was reincarnated into the world of Pokémon with aura powers of my own.

those kind of ballons are more sensitive to changes in temperature, and given that you live in southern California, which never gets blow freezing let alone snowy, EVER. you should have a near immortal ballon there noble. It also helps that you have the ballon in a properly insulated and heated room of your house
0:37 never really thought about it like that, then again pokemon was rarely ever so hard i felt the need to do that, idc who they are ill run the fade prepared or not, if their not a boss or gym leader or a trainer in a gym, not gonna care enough to change my line up for them.

Actually, pokemon was supposed to be based after some kind of post apocalyptic event on earth, animals died off, humans survived, and pokemon appeared. That's why kanto, johto, hoenn and sinnoh are really close to real japanese locations and why every game has a professor researching pokemon.
You got a source for that one, Senator?

I feel the implications of the "Human-Like" Egg Group is that Humans are in that Egg Group, and while more headcanon than implied by canon, I feel humans also fit in the Field Egg Group, though unlike "Human-Like", as mentioned, it's more headcanon than implied canon.

For some added context, the Johto Pokedex book had _just_ been released around the same time as the first movie came out.

Alright, I just looked on Bulbapedia really quick, and I appreciate how the artist at 9:42 paired the concerned trainers with Human-Like Pokémon, while the last guy was simply with a bipedal one. While his reaction can just be taken as a comedic reversal (especially with Meowscarada's reaction), I have trouble leaving well enough alone, so here's my headcanon on this difference:
The answer to their question is generally "no", most Egg Groups cannot produce viable eggs with humans.
I mean, the comic is from a poke-porn series so I think you're just looking into it too much. XD
My brains hurts that this is even a debate

my alakazam, in his 1000iq intelligence, still can't compute my taxes for me. instead, he just throws spoons at my head every time I ask, muttering something about the amercian government...
when someone keeps smiling while angry, you are screwed
2:35 yeah no not intimidating lol, but also because it's obvious... someone that is smiling intimidatingly would be much more terrifying than an angry face, and obvious they got those crazy eyes vs someone who is actually smiling.
Technically, for the Gardevior one, The gaming posture meme, I like the one in the incorrect position more for some reason
There's something about casual style, especially in contrast with modern fantasy fetish, that appeals to me more.

Yeah video games and memes keep me afloat and I'm sure it does for a lot of people Anyways keep up the amazing videos Noble
In the first season, there was a diff between real animals and pokemons, both existing as common animals and others as fantasy to train and battles. But since jhoto the common ones had already been deleted to be all pokemons, for example hamburguers were now made of milktanks or tauros

3:13 HM02 in a nutshell
3:39- Yeah, if it's a driffloon you have to worry about not being able to fly away, since they aren't strong enough to lift children, let alone adults.
For that Fire Emblem and Pokemon meme, the fact they went with Byleth is odd, as only one can exist at a time...
MEANWHILE, ROBIN...
the answer to the title and thumbnail is "theoretically " yes. there is an in game book stating that at one time humans and pokemone were once the same, so with all the magical craziness, it stands to reason that if both parties want it badly enough the pokemons latent DNA may awaken allowing for compatibility. regardless the likelihood is astronomicaly low.
However, they gradually lost this ability, but the abilities of Pokemon still run strong in some families, such as the telepathic/telekinetic abilities that pop up randomly from those with Ghost or Psychic heritages, the unusual or unnatural strength and stamina of those who have Rock, Metal or Fighting ancestries, so on and so forth.
i looked at that Awkward Zombie comic earlier in the week, and my first thought was "wait till they meet Exeggcute"

7:19 My man Fire Emblem only has like 8 avatars the same thing as Pokémon avatars but a little bit better depending on which game you’re playing for the FE. Also, it’s mostly a joke for the Super smash bros of Echo version of the characters and including re-skins
Won’t surprise me if Pokémon comes out and explains that some how humanity is part of its own egg group.
dude with a net, "Hmm I wonder if he'll have any bugs?"
11:37 - A question Cyclops never asked himself, but considering what I've heard about later developments in X-Men comics he probably should have.
I mean, they ended up having a child who turned into basically mutant Jesus in one timeline. So, I think it’s fine.
@@mantis638 I think they had a few. Wasn't Cable some kind of messiah figure, before he got that techno virus, and that's a part of why he helps Hope? I think Rachel was the best Phoenix Force host too. Mr.Sinister really called it on their genes.
4:03 Pichu: PIICHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
well it dubios at best, but 9:32 in game universe logic if a pokemon show you well interest wink wink, it means you are in their egg group.... according to the logic of the daycare dialogues. which is that they prefer to play with others (they arent in the same egg group)
in the manga, which I don't remember one, there is a throw line about pokeballs having a safety so they can't be use on humans, which imply a lot of things including that humans are in fact in the pokemon egg groups, which one? anyone guess, but human are in it
the anime is the only media that doesn't have a "implication" of this, but I mean we have 2 pokemons that clearly were into satoshi, so the anime is the most sutil on all of this
Well I'm thinking humanoid because that is one of the egg groups that humans immediately fall into, and I'm pretty sure that both Gardevoir and Lucario are in the humanoid egg group. I'm not sure about Meowscarada though
