This play-along features rhythms that are organized by form. Be sure to ask your students what is so special about the birds perching on the branch. 😊
If you are finding that this play-along is difficult for your students, here are some suggestions to make the playing experience easier for them:
Split the group into two teams with one team playing the top line and the other team playing the bottom line. Have them take turns playing each part until they are comfortable trying to play the whole piece.
Use TH-cams settings to decrease the tempo

If your students need a bit more of a challenge:
Add body percussion or unpitched percussion to each duration value. (Pat the eighth notes, and clap the quarters!)
