    I like the idea of putting a tunnel on an open shelving unit. I would most likely choose open shelving unit with solid shelves to avoid any potential risk to injury with the gaps in the rails.

    About the rack: it is a great option, I also did something similar with a rack that is for vegetables, for several beds.
    Just a suggestion, maybe you should get a rack with more height between the floors, because the space (height) for the scratching is small; To scratch, the cat must be able to raise its spine, in this case it is colliding with the top.
    and the tunnel, they enjoy it more when it is on the floor, where they can interact and play with each other and sometimes use it to rest, but in that type of rack, the grates do not help, you have to put a floor (cardboard, MDF) so that It is a smooth floor and does not hurt the legs. I noticed that in one of your videos where you put the rack that is close to the window, to go down they do not have space to step on and they do not want to step on the grates, it is solved by putting a base where they can step without discomfort in their paws (especially as they age they are more sensitive and their joints must be taken care of). Greetings :)

    I have a Tri-tunnel in my kitchen (PetSmart, $17). My cat loves to sneak in there, and pounce at me as I walk by. We also play with wand toys by dropping the end of the string through the top hole. They’re also pretty indestructible.

    really love your catification videos(all videos really :) ), thank you for the great content! racks or shelves are really a great tool for small rental appartments, not only for cats!
    but I would not use wire-style racks where my cat could climb on it - I would just worry too much about their paws getting stuck!

    Great video as always! I noticed some of your older videos no longer appear in your uploads list- for example the hair management video or the one where you’re talking to Latte through a door. I can still find them in my watch history, but not on your channel. Just wondering if this was on purpose?

    • @monsieurtn
      @monsieurtn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Wow you noticed! Yes, I unlisted them (not deleted) because since they were some of my first videos I felt they were a little lower quality. Also, eventually I wanted redo that hair one!
      Were you trying to rewatch a specific video?

      @@monsieurtn yes I was looking for the hair one haha, but that’s cool if you’re planning on redoing it! I’m just glad I’m not crazy and imagined watching it 😂

    Maybe better and cheaper than cat trees. Some cats more like hiding places then height. Still you need the scratcher. And this window beds are favorite by everyone

    It is really amazing, how you managed to keep four cats in such a small space. I struggle with my three cats. Maybe you or some of the other cat butlers could help me out. I got two cats, a female 6 years and male, 9 years from a woman. I didnt ask questions, if they could have any problems, i just tuck them naivety in. Sometimes the female started peeing on my clothes and I noticed that they fought very badly. Well after I got another female cat, she is 2 years old by know, the peeing worsened. I think that my 6 old cat is truggling with the territory and I have too catify my home. But I am scared that it might help but the stresslevel of hers will continue. Because know the male attacks her if he is bored and the younger one is curious. Do you have any kind of experience that might help me? I would really appreciate it

    • @monsieurtn
      @monsieurtn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment! Yes, in this case I would take notice of everywhere she pees and redo the entire environment in a way that makes her more comfortable. You have to make sure that the cats can escape from each other when there is some sort of fight or wrestle or any sort of tension.

    I have an awkward question... Who do you like more: bengal or russian blue and why? 😅 Second question is: how many litterboxes do your cats have?

    • @monsieurtn
      @monsieurtn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is a tough question! I think I alternate from day to day depending on my own feelings and mood. If I'm more active, then my Bengal cat is a lot of fun. But if I'm relaxed, I tend to enjoy hanging out with my Russian Blue more!
      For your second question, I have 2 litter boxes for 4 cats. They've never gone outside of the litter boxes or had any accidents!

    • @karolinamajewska5995
      @karolinamajewska5995 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@monsieurtn thanks! Litterbox was one of the things that made me thinking I can't have any more cats. But in that case we'll keep considering. 😊 We have a bengal at the moment, not mentioning smaller creatures. I'd like to have devon rex or russian blue "for a change", cats that finally would act like cats, the opposite for semi-tamed jungle little beast that runs away from human touch. 😊

    • @comaradelee
      @comaradelee 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@monsieurtn hello, just a warning, eucalyptus is high in 1,8 cineole which is bad/toxic for cats' liver. you can google about essential oils and cats

    • @monsieurtn
      @monsieurtn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@comaradelee Thanks for the warning! I did some research and asked my vet before getting the candle. As long as it's not an oil that the cats have direct contact with or ingest, candles are generally fine!

    cats don't like their water in the same place as their food

    • @TempestLich
      @TempestLich 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      that's not true at all what the hell? Every cat I've ever had always drinks water immediately after eating, and it'd be obviously convenient to have it nearby.
