  • This siren is located on top of a tower at the water treatment plant in Clyde, Ohio. For some time, I was thinking about going to the other 3T22 by the railroad to hear it in person because I actually think it sounds pretty cool with the closed dampers, but I later decided to record the "Car-T22" instead because there aren't as many videos of this one and I figured I would check to see how it's doing. There were some rumors going around that this thing might've been dead, but thankfully they turned out to be false, as this 3T22 slowly comes to life after the tones dropped. It is lower pitched now than when it was last recorded, but the pitch remained steady throughout the test, so that makes me believe there might be something going on with the voltage getting to the siren. Unfortunately Clyde didn't do attack this month, but I'm still glad that this siren worked. It wasn't very loud at all, which I think may be due to its location and how it's mounted. The ambiance from the 3T22, T-128 at Mc Pherson Middle School and 2001-130 at Clyde High School was also pretty nice. Enjoy!
Sirens in Sandusky County are tested on the first Saturday of every month at noon.
