This is very interesting. I’ve been thinking of building something like this. So far I have the rotary encoder and two buttons.

Very cool. I intend to make a video of my design too at some point, do you mind if I feature your design in it?

Hey nice Job :), the knob have button insert, you need only the Push Pull PCB not the Push :D, so you can do it smaller and reduce 1 PCB

In order to have the same click feeling for Push and Pull, a knob with a button was not used. If you want to make it easier, you can do it that way👍.

How does the middle layer reset after move up/down. I didnt see you use springs. This is a good and simple design. You can also make it much more compact.

It is reset by the returning force of the tactile switch itself. The PCB is very light, so the force of the tactile switch alone is sufficient. Of course, you can also use a spring to quickly and reliably reset it. Since this is my first PCB design, I took a little margin. I want to shrink it in the future.

@@07JP27 thank you for the response. I made an fcu and the overall design was much more complicated.

    It's not bad.
But if you want create a FCU with real dimensions, it's way to big.
You need to reduce the size... but anyhow, good work!

      Thank you for your comment.
I don't have enough space to reproduce the entire cockpit, so I want to realistically reproduce the FCU and other key parts of the cockpit.
The plan at the moment should give me enough space in my room 😁

Hi, excellent work ! Do you have the 3D files, and the PC Plates files too ? Thanks !

      Thank you for your comment.
As there are many areas for improvement in this product, which is my first project, I have decided not to release it yet as it is not at a level that can be made public. I hope to create an improved version in the future.
