    Just come across your chanel.. bloody amazing work. I spent 5 years at college doing body repair. Watching videos like this make me wish I carried on with it. Its absolute craftsmanship. Far far beyond "body repair"

    I only just found this series as I'm a fairly recent subscriber. I had a 1300 Supersport in about 1986. I did various go fast mods including 1600 stage 2 engine, big bore exhaust and different carb. Sadly it got stolen and was recovered stripped.

    You show well how far you get the rust away.

    I’ve been panel beating for 31 yrs so I know how much work a restoration is and you’re making it look easy - so fair play to you. Great job. I love the fiesta supersport my dad had one back in the day.
    Great video.

    Your welding, fabricating is impressive . You did have me wondering about welding the outer arch as most just panel over instead of welding the correct way.

    • @WhitelandRestorations
      @WhitelandRestorations  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Panelling over is sadly something a lot of people do but it doesn't help the car at all.... Rust will be trapped between the seams and will rot out again

    Cracking videos. But think the labour And materials cost fair more than the cars value

      We like to do things properly here lol. The value of these little pocket rockets are going up though so sound investment 👌

    If anyone wonders why bodywork, fabrication restoration, painting is expensive the Lewis" craftmanship demonstrates why

    Lewis, what a great job you have made on the arch and sill repairs. Learning so much through watching your videos.
    Can you tell me what medium was used on the fiesta when sand blasting and also what primer was used after??

    • @WhitelandRestorations
      @WhitelandRestorations  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi thank you very much. We'll try to keep all the videos informative as much as we can. We're getting a bit worried about the length of the videos! Is the 20min mark too long or just enough? The sandblasting was done using glass media and then painted straight away with 2k lechler epoxy primer 👍

    • @nicholashitchman4873
      @nicholashitchman4873 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WhitelandRestorations thanks for the reply. Videos are fine in length, go great with a nice cuppa and I really like the new intro. What grade of glass media was used?

    • @WhitelandRestorations
      @WhitelandRestorations  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's great to hear 😁 the glass was medium grade, leaves a really good finish to epoxy over
