MVP means Most VALUABLE player - NOT Best Player. Aja is Clearly the BEST player. But Caiilin is clearly the most VALUABLE player because she improves the team as a whole more than any other player improves their own team.
Aja is easily more valuable because her team wouldn’t even be where they are at without her. And Aja is averaging better numbers it’s always been the player who plays the BEST. Aja is averaging 27 12 with 2.6 blocks per game I’m sorry but it just isn’t a conversation.
The only professional athlete to change their sport the way Caitlin Clark has changed women's basketball was Babe Ruth. He hit long hume runs, she hits long threes. He struck out a lot, she has lots of turnovers. When you play as big as Clark and Ruth your going to fail some, but when you get it right it's majestic.

Don’t be stupid. Clark’s defense is improving. She played quite good defense against the Aces on 09/11. She still has a long way to go before she is a good overall defender. She gets lost too often. But she is also opportunistic in steals. Plus she is an excellent rebounder for a guard, and defensive rebounds are a significant part of playing defense.
