My 2nd row seats are stuck in the fold down position. Can’t manually put them up and the buttons in the back aren’t doing anything. Tried the red tabs, nothing. This is not the first time the buttons in the back have not worked to put the seats back up. So frustrated with this car!!!
I know this is an old video but does anyone happen to know if the 3rd row impacts the trunk space when the 3rd row is down compared to a GLE without the 3rd row option?

@@automotiveguru thanks for your response. I was actually referring to my third row seats. They won’t go down when I push the release. I’ve been told to make sure the second row seats are moved forward but even then, my third row seats won’t go down.
@@ntnguyen0806 You said the seats will not unlatch at all. Is that correct? I sometimes find that you have to really push that lever hard to get them to unlatch. Sorry for so many questions, it's difficult to diagnose an issue without seeing it.

Can you explain exactly how row 3 these seats lockdown/release we have not been able to get ours to operate they have been locked down since we collected it?
The operation of the third row seats is done from the rear cargo area. You will have to make sure the second row seats are in the farthest forward position in order to allow the 3rd row to go upright. Once you are in the Cargo area and the second row is forward, your next step is to grab the 3rd row seat near the headrest and pull towards you until it locks in place. There is NO release mechanism for putting them up (but there is for putting them DOWN). Now to put them down you will locate the release on each seat. These are found on the top left and top right of each seat back. You will push on either one and the seat will go down. Hopefully this helps. No, when you select the 3rd row option, your car is equipped with 'run-flat' tires, as there will be no room for a spare
