it's time for another album liveblog wahey :D this is going to end up being more than one comment sorry in advance but it turns out this is an album of all time ever forever + _Eclipse_ is a dang good opener! very energetic, a little bit spooky, any use of Finale is a good use in my book, and an _excellent_ transition to _Bleeding Windows_ ! + i am even more impressed with y'all's synthwork than before and i'm only 3/30 tracks in, so that's saying something. you've really hit an awesome balance between music to chill to, music to be spooky to, and "complete and utter jam" once more, this is gonna be another album i come back to repeatedly, i can feel it! + oooooOOOOH the little Do It All The Time clip in _Broken Pills_ hit me right in the -- i'm not sure. it hit the hype is the point. the use of Starboy in _Crazyboy_ is also absolutely on point :D + _Roundtable Curse_ punched me directly in the gut with its intro and then continued to kick the shit out of me thanks (this is a compliment it ruled)! how was that only like 30 seconds i felt the weight of ages slam directly into my solar plexus i wouldn't have it any other way. great job with the subtle Never Gonna Give You Up drums there also. i would listen to a full version of it. _have.mp3_ also kicks ass -- kind of in a different way but still in an "absolute jam, has no right to go this hard except it totally does" -- KIRBY. sorry i have to immediately go ham over any use of aesop rock its the law + i can't tell if i'm hearing Megalovania in _Runaway GBA_ or not. either way, it owns, this might be the one i come back to a whole bunch (or, well, one of the ones. i'm only 8 tracks iiiiIIIIS THAT ELYBEATMAKER. HEY HANG ON THAT'S THE ENTER THE GUNGEON RAP HANG ON THAT'S YV'S MANSION/GUN LOCKER, _HANG ON THAT'S NONE SHALL PASS,_ + yknow i recognize the initial bell synth bit in _N4Z4R37H_ from somewhere but luckily i don't remember where so i am going to use this as an opportunity to breathe after the utter experience that was _Gun's Genesis_ because. wow. yeah i'm still reeling there. i love the heavier synth in this track though, it's quite good :D- ah. hello megalovania! + LOGIC GATEKEEPER oh this is such a good combination of songs to compliment Logic Gatekeeper that i absolutely would not have thought of. this is incredible. yeah okay there's gonna be a _lot_ of songs on this album i return to because _Logic Has No Place Here_ is so good. oh my god hang on that's one of the FMA:B openings. + i had to take all of _Chemical War_ just to breathe normally again (ironic) but i'm back now. _Singularity_ is really, REALLY good, just a solid banger of a synthline and overall an incredible time. stellar mixing on it too! also, pairing Enemy with the Sweet Dreams synth is straight up inspired, that was _so_ good (also, i do not have much to say about _Blackout Like A Hole_ other than it's really really really good👍) + _Afterglow Overdrive_ is such a nice wind-down from solid banger after banger -- not that it's not a banger, just that it's not as many samples and it's really well-meshed into this excellent vibe of a song. also, i am VERY lucky that _Love Me Station_ didn't kill me on impact instantly. it'll kill SOMEONE on impact for sure i'm just lucky enough not to have any specific associations with Love Me Dead
it's comment #3 give it up for comment #3. hopefully this feeds the algorithm because more people need to experience this absolute masterwork + _The New Mania_ starts strong and just gets stronger as everything goes on, excellently mixed, i am now prepared for _The Burning Mind_ and what comes afterwards ([narrator voice] they were not prepared for _The Burning Mind_ or what came afterwards) + _Smoky Suffocation_ has got to be one of the most brilliant uses of Crawling i've ever heard, having that lead riff isolated gives the track a really eerie and dark feel that's just generally. it's good i like the it. absolutely earns the phrase "smoky" that is genuinely a great description of this song's sound in the best way possible. + the combination of Cake By The Ocean and Starboy was already killing me before i started hearing synth from The Massacre in the background there. _Hell On Earth_ does not feel like hell on earth it's more like... i mean it's an experience but i'm-- oh that transition to _Perfectly Running_ was SO slick i entirely forgot what i was saying. Walkin' On The Sun has never gone as hard as it does here. love me some Shirobon + it remains to be seen if _Please Panic_ will have its desired effect but i _utterly_ dig the general vibe on it. spooky mashups that are also bangers continue to be a specialty of yours, it seems, and i am so thankful for that because this utterly owns. also i may have checked the tracklist on this one ahead of time and hell yeah Alice Schach, wouldn't have caught that if i hadn't looked over :D + Fireflies! _Fireflies Go On_ to be specific!
