Thanks for the video. I did not disable the test mode in time before we went live. Our first four donations were made while in test mode. How can I recover these donations without contacting the donor?
Oh bummer. Well, you are not the first person who that has happened to. Been there and done that. There is no way to recover the donations within the GiveWP plugin. You will have to contact Stripe. First see if the transactions even got logged. Login in to Stripe. Click "payments" (top left) and see if the payments are there. Then turn on "test mode" by click the toggle at the top right of the page. Do you see any payments there? If the payments show in live mode then you are good. If the payments show in test mode then you can try to see if Stripe can help. And if you just don't see any payments, then you are out of luck. To get help from Stripe click on the "help" link in the top right of the page. Then click "Share feedback". I have used this "share feedback" for many questions and they always get back to me in 24 hours. So just tell them what happened. In the end, you may just have to send a nicely worded email to your donors, explain what happened and ask them to donate again. When this happened to me, all the donors did donate again. Hope you have as much luck.
