Love the girls’ bedroom! Super cute! I totally feel you with cleaning when no one is home. My kids are grown but I still live by the theory that my favorite house to clean is an empty one! Side note: can you link the blinds in your bedroom? I love that they open from the top down!

I just want to thank you for the motivation. It helps me so much. I struggle on a daily basis with depression and find myself not being able to move and do all the things I want. Sometimes I watch 2 or 3 videos before I get anything done but it's more than I've done in the past which I find to be a great start to change.
I love that you dont go over the top with decor - getting new beds and a refresh with a few special touches is a BIG DEAL for kids. It looked so cute ❤

You don't give yourself enough credit for your decorating skills. Not everyone likes A lot of things and stuff.
I don't have too many knick knacks on dressers or entertainment centers because I don't like to clean a bunch of little things when I dust furniture. On my walls there is minimal decor as well because I like being able to wash my walls regularly.
Jamie, I do consider you as our teacher here. You not only show how to clean and organize, you reach way down and teach us lessons of caring ,kindness, and forgiving. I think you are an amazing young woman and I am forever grateful to have found this platform you have created.

I saw this quote this morning right before watching your video and hearing you mention seeing perfection on social media. Christine Derengowski said, “I don’t know how we’ve come to glorify perfection when the best things in life are messy, loud, and a little unpredictable.” I love that. The mess may make me anxious at times, but it also is such a blessing bc it’s been made by a happy family. One day my house will be clean, quiet, and empty. 😢

I realized that’s what I was doing! I felt the stress leave 😊 I have 2 weeks to chip away at it. And only Family will be here. Time to start enjoying the process.

The only carpet in my house is on the stairs, it has its pros and cons. But I find moping is far easier than carpet shampooing and all around a plus ..I have some small throw carpets that I can throw in the washer and let air dry 👌...thanks for all your motivation 😊

Absolutely love how the twins room came out!! I like how you didnt get matching colors. I definitely miss my girls being that little its a lot easier as far as picking their stuff out. But its also fun to see them come into their own and make decisions on what they want as well. My oldest is a preteen almost teenager and its rough at times but also like i said beautiful seeing her grow into her own person.

Hi Jamie! I love your content. As a parent I can relate to your content/journey.
Keeping home organized and clean takes a lot of work. A loottt! And getting something done in such a short amount of time is already an accomplishment.
You mentioned your kiddos was at your SIL's house and you have a few hours to yourself. You chose to do speed cleaning as opposed to do some reading or edit video or a time for yourself. Again, as a parent i can relate to that. I'm a parent and work FT and have the home to run.
You mentioned earlier how you don't pull the tag/sticker out until you're sure - I like that so I'm going to do that too. That way I don't kick myself if it doesn't work out. Thank you for that tip!

I love your channel, you and your family. You motivate me to clean my house. I will be updating my Instagram with photos of me doing a Swedish Death Cleaning and you will not believe how much stuff we took to Salvation Army. Jamie I’ve been watching your cleaning videos off and on for a few years now. Every time I get inspired to clean 🧼 as best as I can. I think I’ve shared with you before that I live alone and I’m a stage 4 MBC patient for 9 years now. I also have had RA for 22 years. So needless to say my energy and strength 💪 isn’t like it used to be. I feel extremely embarrassed and ashamed that I tire so easily. However in saying this, your videos and inspiration still help those of us who feel so alone and unable to be like I wish I was. If the top part is interchangeable, you could always put the older cover on the newer base and make them mixed. Then they would be mixed and look coordinated. One would have the dark bas, light cover and dark pillow, the other the light base, dark cover and light pillow. Might look cute?
You so should put a set of those curtains in blue in your bedroom and green with pink in Avery’s room. They so finish the room beautifully.

The full size Beddy’s should have two shams so if you use both shams per bed, but put the lighter pink ones on the darker bed and vice versa, that might be cute! And maybe even add a throw blanket at the foot of each bed that has both light and dark pink colors in it or a darker pink and lighter pink blanket that match the shams for each bed. Does that make sense? 😊

Thank you for the cleaning motivation Jamie! I am in the midwest as well (Minnesota) and yes, we like our carpets. I find that I can go weeks without mopping but just vacuuming and my floors aren't as dirty. Helps that my kids are now adults and not dragging in all the mess anymore. But I do vacuum pretty much daily to keep tge house clean and fresh.

I love their room! The two different pinks are very complementary of each other, and I think it works well! They do make knock-off zippered bedding, but it isn't nearly as pretty. I have a set on my 5-year old's bed currently just because it's the only way to keep covers on her bed lol. I have the original Bissel Crosswave, but when we moved into our house, it stayed in storage. After I watched your last video, I got it out, cleaned it up really good, and I used it yesterday. Thank you so much for sharing how you clean yours! It helped me so much! My floors have never been cleaner, and I love it. I'm a huge fan of how you decorate. I love the simplicity of it because to me it isn't cluttered or over the top, and it just has a clean look about it. You're such an inspiration! I hope you have a great week!
