  • How did samurai warriors in the Sengoku Period put on their armor? What did they wear on and off the battlefield? What kind of sword techniques did they use?
In this video, I’m going to show you how warriors from the Sengoku Period put on armor. I’ll introduce to you to all the parts that go with it and what they are called. As a bonus, I’ll show you an example of a sword technique used.

If your finding you are getting sore shoulders from wearing Do, then you also need to wear a Sarashi Belt (torso wrap) or an Obi.
I have both and they are designed to take the weigh off your shoulders, so that the Do sits on your hips. 🙂

I am planning on making a Samurai Kit out of kozane. All the videos I've watched on doning Samurai Armour, they never name what's worn under it. Now I know Nobakama & Funazoko-sode is the under garments.
    Thank You

    日本には、女性用の甲冑も何点か残っていますよ。今の米軍を始めとするミリタリー規格であるモールシステムは、日本の鎧の構造をヒントにしていますよ。
