the new story did her justice. the voice acting is incredible, the story remains intact, and the characters are SO MUCH BETTER then what they were. eskelade is actually likable, cartalion feels like a real general and not like a sick pedophile, and the aftermath felt touching

Yeah before the revamp, Angelic Buster's story was infamous for having her getting sexually harassed by virtually every single male character who wasn't Kyle or Velderoth, which was made ten times worse by the fact that literally all of them were grown men perving on a child. Eskalade and Eurenth were the biggest offenders of this, but the revamp changed their characterization for the better by having Eskalade be a chill older brother type mentor. The Goddess of Maple World dialogue has residual elements of this, similar to how MIhile's level 140 Memory Keeper quest kept in Neinheart's snobby attitude from before his Ignition revamp. There's unfortunately no scene of Tear revealing her identity to Kyle because it hasn't yet happened in the game. It would've made sense for it to happen during Aftermath, but Nexon really likes to string along the moment for no good reason. I'd assume that it'll happen in a similar post-Grandis Aftermath cutscene after we defeat Darmoor.

I think Nexon's revamps are usually for the better, although I do miss some of Neinheart's snobby attitude, like when he told you in the Root Abyss storyline that he was mildly amused to see you alive. Oh well, I'm still glad for the revamps.
Yeah, unfortunately there have been issues in GMS with getting the new Angelic Buster music, even in the Lucid x Angelic Buster event for Dreamer/GO WEST. Some people are saying that it's a licensing issue, but I'm not too sure myself.
