I feel like a cool idea for this universe is pychogical evolution not being able to catch up to the physical augmentations humans would go under. The redefining of sex as less of a pleasure and more of a duty to continue the human race, relationships being more based around developed personalities rather than the sexes and the clash between unconscious desire and conscious rationality.
It's coming. The ongoing breakdown of pseudo-cultural and political ideas will produce a critical mass of thinking people. Talk to young. Yes, 80% are stupid (as we were in their age too), but the rest 20% are the future. They so on point in many things and already have some strong values and views.

The opening is really cool. :) Good choice of quotes. My world project starts out similarly, with runaway climate change destroying earth - but then it continues very differently from yours, with failed terraforming projects and a several colonies around Jupiter holding on to what's left. Proper FTL is still a century or two away. Humanity, or what is has genetically engineered, is stuck to small specks of dust in the void, with the number of habitable planets in the Sol System being closer to zero than 1. My world plays around 500 years later than yours, I like the tighter timeline you wrote a lot!

As such only after we learned to use fire to cook did we obtain enough energy from food to develop our frontal cortex further. Allowing for much of the Sapiens Sapiens advantages. Vegetariana, have the worst energy conversion. Some incapable of doing anything but eating and sleeping to fuel their bodies, let alone think and invent. So, how do genetically modified species would deal with the energy requirements for their bodies to function?" Human brains consume around 20% of the energy a normal weak human eats. Having enhanced strength, would require more energy. Building sturdy bones requires a lengthier process and as such more energy. Stronger skin does the same. And depending on how does resistance to cold works it might also require more energy. If they are resistant to cold by heating themselves or does. If they are resistant to cold by hibernating then they are not active during that period. If their chemistry works differently, then human template might not work and as such would require an entirely different physiology.

The year my world is set in is 8588 of the 86th century of the far distant post post apocalyptic future. The name of the planet my story is set in is the very ancient and somewhat dying alien planet of Archaeiya.
I hate to criticize it because I can tell how much heart and effort was put into it, most of my gripes are just the kind of future that's being outlined to me. It just comes off to me, as if you asked Ayn Rand to write a science fiction world. You've done a good job putting it all together, although I feel like total ecological collapse and technological progress came on a bit too fast, otherwise it's a pretty solid base for a science fiction world. Although admittedly not one I want to live in lol.
That's short sighted. "Saving Humanity" would easily fit the narrative of a greed fueled and profit driven conglomerate as it fulfills any corporation's ideal goal. Monopoly. Monopoly of both labor and consumer. If a modern day company could farm and herd laborers and consumers like animals you know they would. And in an unchecked, post regulatory dystopia that type of monopoly could damn well be achieved. So yes, "save" humanity then enslave and monetize it under the guise of benevolence. Think critically, dont be a sheep.

I imagine a Mars colony will be happy for the help to get established in the early days, then like the Americas, Australia & other British colonies, there will be a point where they will demand their independence, & to fully govern themselves & their affairs, then it will either be all good for both sides, to happily trade with each other, or.................
