I think the only reason this exists is so that more factories can make TFone merch. Only so many moulds of the good toys exist, so only so many copies can be made in a day. But if you take an old mould and retool it into a megatron, you've just very cheaply made a whole new toy that can go to some side factory and fill a tonne of demand
Update- turns out I did miss the armor! Not surprised how I did tho, no images on the package or promotional images make reference to it. I threw the box out already, and I guess the armor with it. Tragic. lol
My initial reaction was that the headsculpt looked pretty decent...until I realised he was smiling. Then add in the fact the gun is on the wrong arm and the posability is almost non existent, there's no way I'd buy this at full price. Rid15 was arguably one of the franchises darkest hours so they definitely shouldn't have revived this mould
Theres a short on the transformers IG that has the prime changers optimus and this megatron seeing the movie, so unfortunately I think THIS is the mainline megatron....
Megatron from TF Prime is ok, my favourite Megatron is the one from TF Animated. The way he obliterates Starscream and fights Optimus Prime says it all.
Since there was only one reused figure of this type in the Transformers One toyline, I wonder if this was supposed to be a filler figure for a hypothetical Prime Changer Megatron/D-16
This might be a bit late now since you might have already tossed out the box, but Whirlwing had some clear accessories that you could attach to him inside the box behind the cardboard insert
I was about to say that Hasbro didn’t make Bakugan. It would be really cool if they did though. Imagine Dragonoid vs Transmetal II Megatron. That would be awesome!
Makes me really sad there’s no “good” mainline Megatron. There’s so many different sizes of OP but with Megs there’s just really simple small stuff and then the Studio Series and all the non transforming ones.
Unfortunately, Bakugan are _slightly_ too small to work properly with Overload, Crazybolt and this lad. I'm actually surprised they didn't just make him Laserbeak; he even bears a slight resemblance to the movie version, now I think about it. 10:55 I was waiting _so_ impatiently for you to figure out you needed to put him down first... 🤣
I'm guessing the gimmick only works when the figure is sitting or rolling on the floor? Still, a fucking CYBERVERSE mold would've been a better reuse 😭 at least the gimmicks on those work no problem.
Smiling, gun on the wrong arm, bird friend, he really feels like a weird mirror dimension Megatron.
Shattered Glass, maybe?
D16 figure is an example of "don't look too close".
bought this guy and he like, immediately crumbled to bits lmao

The "huuh" was so funny
I remember I got the orange version of the bakugan wannabe from 5below years ago definitely one of the better rid 15 minicons
You forgot the armour!! it was always the best part about the minicons
I didn't forget it, Hasbro did! lol This is all he came with.
Not all Deployers came with the armour frames, that was mostly just the single-pack ones.
@@Brickerbrack oh really? I didn't know,thanks
@@Jcc2224 that sucks 😔

ur reviews are funny as hell man cant get enough of these weird mainline figures
Why does Hasbro even make this stuff, idk what kid would actually want this at the price of an actual figure or even 2 one step changers

It’s designed to be grounded when firing so kids won’t shoot their eyes while holding it
So is Megatron with the "Giving Birth" action feacture 😂
Congrats it's a healthy Minicon
Sucks it doesn't seem like we'll be getting a Megatron/D-16 in the Prime Changers line.

Omg, 25 bucks is a horrible price, he looks like he should be Authentics pricepoint

This Megatron seems to be able to do the lucky charms dance and nothing more
11:41 said toyline from a show that already kinda sucks
nah. Not kinda. It just sucked lol

1:19 i had him in a box of bakugons but now he's in my actual transformers
Its designed so kids can't shoot it at each others
This is a retool of a TF RID 2015 TOY?! Holy lord, that's an old toy
Nope, Spinmaster does Bakugan. If Hasbro did Bakugan I want to say it wouldn't be mismanaged but it'd really just have different problems.

This guy Is a re mold of RID 2015.
Ohh it’s the blue guy from RID
Did you enjoy stellarus’ stream last night?

10:53 tanks tend to be on the floor
I got this figure when it came out. I hate it so much I returned it. I absolutely HATE this toy, lol!
That is a really weird megatron
I've brought this thing by accident,
What a PoS 10.99 at the absolute most
Is that a 2015 rid minicon
Bakugan
Bakugan
Its literally a Bakugan
Bakugan's not managed by Hasbro or Takara. Instead, it's managed by Spin Master.
This seems like a $10 or $12 figure, not a $25 figure. $25 for that is outrageous.
04:12 Megatron with his gigantic hemmoroids... Yuck
It look like bakugan for transformers. But it not. 😅
CAN YOU MAKE MORE GUNDAM VIDEOS I LOVE GUNDAM
is that a bakugan???
I had the overload figure and loved it. Honestly I liked the original rid 2015 stuff
Nobody cares about destroying that package.
L like Megatron
Hmmmmm. This thing is trash lol.
