When Farhad was in California I think was in 90's, I did asked him about he's piano playing, he said he doesn't know how to read nots but he can play!!
He would listen to a piece of recorded music and then he could play it on the piano. This is pure musical genius. He said once that he was not allowed to learn and practice music, so he would go to listen to his Armenian friends playing music. This is how he started.
