Evolution of NYCTA NTT's (OpenBVE)

MTA's NTT fleet has been expanding ever since the early 90s and contains several different types of prototype trains that many have forgotten about. NTT is short for New Technology Train. While Most of the NTT fleet is similar each car has some different look and mechanics to it. Today I compared in OpenBVE every type of NTT fleet that NYCT own. Unlike the SMEEs every NTT comes with a sliver body shell. The NTTs have their acceleration and braking both in one handle unlike the SMEEs which use 2 handles. Enjoy the Video!

The R110A was just beautiful. Largest doors ever on an NYC Subway car at 63 inches, and also the only B Division/IRT train to have transverse seating. Would have loved to ride one of those

I really like the transverse seating on the R110A/B, wish more rolling stock was like this, especially on the IRT where the R110As had window seats.

Cool video, I always found MTA interesting, its familiar yet different.
I wish the British community had such a nice range of trains simulated in BVE like the NY community did.
Instead we get developers cancelling entire projects and crying over Roblox players using ONE of their assets. And most TSC and TSW devs only care about national rail, we only have one underground line.

The r142 and 143 are over halfway through their life span and the r300 family will replace them, The r160 oldest sets are 40% and can receive mid life upgrades r188 new cars have gone through a 35% maximum span, but most sets 25% and get replace by the r342-343-360-388-411 replacement for 211,462,468, r500 family replacement for the r300 family and I'm the NYC subway time lord and my prediction is most likely occurrence
