I was 12 when I found Heather. Im 22 now. I miss her so much, what an amazing asmrtist. Nobody will ever compare to the legend herself
I was 15 or 16 when I first watched a heather feather asmr video. Nearly 30 now and no one else did it like heather feather!
I also found her around that age and I’m also 22. I think I found her in 8th grade when I dislocated my knee and couldn’t fall asleep lol. Although I’ve found a couple asmrtists that I enjoy, I always find myself coming back to heather’s videos

I love Heather. She never changed her style. She didn't have to. She's one of the best. I miss her dearly. She was the first ASMR artist that I listened to. Her videos helped and still help with my depression and anxiety. Her videos also helped me quit smoking. No joke.
She'll always be the best ASMRtist, no matter where she is or what happens to her.

The VSCO girl "sksksksk" thing is meant to be from mashing your phone keyboard with your thumbs as an excited reaction to something. The spoken version that they do then stems from that. It had literally nothing to do with ASMR.
I used to suffer from terrible insomnia but ever since I've been listening to your videos (about a year now) I can sleep just fine, when I told my doctor about this he was amazed and is now recommending these videos to his other patients. So I wanted to let you know how much your videos help me and others like me, keep up the great work. :D
I had the same thing happen to me! I used to lay in bed for hours but this puts me to sleep in minutes! :)
The internet is cool because you can rediscover videos so naturally. The algorithm sucks but sometimes it brings back gems like this.

This is incredible, why isn't this stuff being developed for first person video games? I could just imagine intricate rails for a binaural mic to move through a set. I suppose simulated surround sound is the same idea but this is so much more powerful. I don't understand how but it's like I can feel the breath on my skin.
Imagine how powerful that could be in something like a death scene with a characters last whispers.

Brian Therkildsen I think (although I'm not an audio expert) they could easily convert it to single channel audio and have that be the default with a binaural setting as another preset, also your comment begins with 'plus' and then a comma. Was there a part of your comment that was lost? or a previous one I'm not seeing?

i keep trying other asmrtists but I always end up coming back to this channel! your videos and your voice are just a bit softer (not so much in volume but in tone) and they're a lot better for sleep, I find.

ASMR Artists like you have helped me a lot to deal with anxiety and insomnia, so I've got no words to say how I feel when I remember that you dedicate all this time, energy, creativity and attention basically to make us feel better. I "discovered" ASMR about one year ago and I watch your videos almost every day. Even though I may never get to know you, in person, I have to tell you that you have been a real good friend when I am feeling anxious and uncomfortable.

God, no one can give me tingles like she can. I love asmr and I find it very relaxing, but I don't really get tingles anymore for years now. Every once in a while I will get a few, but only heather can still consistently give me full scalp tingles. I have to ration her content so I can still come back every once in a while and still get the full effect.

Two things put you on the top of my favorites list; 1. No doors in the background (door sounds, no matter how faint, always jar me back to "reality", and 2. Whatever that super-quiet cloth sound is (could be hair on cloth?) ... I sometimes hear it when you're switching sides. It's a key component.

This has been the only ASMR video that has given me tingles! The tips of my ears were on complete edge. I think it's better not being able to see the person move around the microphone, it gives off a lot more suspense. Whispering is also a lot better!

Last night I actually listened to the original, as I was trying to fall asleep after making my own first ASMR video (as Umbergnome). I guess I got too excited about finally being able to contribute. Your original video still managed to relax me though!
