From 1967, here is #TheHappyGoodmans with their album, Bigger 'n' Better. It was released on #CanaanRecords CA-4630-LP (mono)/CA-9630-LP (stereo). This is the sound of the always and still enjoyable Happy Goodman Family! Please note that what I'm uploading is unfortunately the mono version. I have the stereo version on my want list, and as soon as I can procure it, I will redo these. This is track 5 from the album, and it was composed by #LeroyAbernathy. I appreciate the music publishers for allowing these little heard gems to stay on my channel. I'm not trying to make money here or step on anybody's toes with copyright infringement. If there's ever a problem with anything I upload, I will be more than happy to take it down. I'm a collector who has amassed close to 50,000 songs on my computer, and I like to share things that are not heard too often. I imagine the majority of what I post isn't even on CD or any other digital format. I have taken time to digitally restore these from the original records; you might hear a stray click or pop here and there, but for the most part, these sound really good.

Yes , I agree . Gospel music certainly has gotten too modern. I definitely don't like the contemporary music and the flashing lyrics on the walls .

My Pastor is a working man.He was raised building bridges for county and state roads and still to this day works building train bridges.
I think of him when this song is sung.

Yes , Vestal certainly does well on this song. But with all due respect, you haven't heard it sung until you hear MaryTom Speer Reid sing it . Check out the 1983 tribute to Mom and Dad Speer with the kids ( grown and older ) doing their songs
