How to light Jewelry in Blender like a Pro Photographer (Quick Blender Tip 32)

In this Blender tutorial, I will show you how to light Jewelry in Blender using one light. Jewelry is very effective, small in size, and incredibly difficult to photograph in real life.
Although there is software out there to design a 3d jewelry model, like the CAD, but the render often looks very fake or unsharp. Because of the unrealistic lighting setup and incorrect lighting knowledge, people think we cannot get excellent jewelry 3D render out of Blender.

Can't you also just use a plane with an emission shader and a round gradient texture?

You can, but it very difficult to have precise controls on the reflection
