I think given the right conditions he can break the 5k rec but probably it will have to be this year or 2016 or age will start to take its toll. This half marathon time is one of his best performances but it's 1min 7 secs short of the record. I'd say his chances of setting another World record are around 20%.
Faizal Abu Bakar i like mo a lot, but no. his most important distances are 5k, 10k, and now half-marathon. there is no way he can beat bekele's wr times in 5k and 10k. and half-marathon, well, he started specializing only now. he would still have to cut his time by more than a minute...somewhat possible, but... doubtful.
Ian Stone no one is touching komen records my friend, certainly not Farah who even being capable of 7:25 lacks the balls to push the pace when the pacers drop out. 2 miles outdoor is barely run so no chance. 5km? Even tougher to break, a runner like Bekele comes out every 1000 years probably.
