If you are racing on carpet then I suggest sanding the chassis plate to round the sharp edges. Then glue and sand again. Makes nice edge and stops chassis plates splitting and cutting carpet. Also looks nice!.

What options are recommended during the construction of the 2018 XRAY T4 RC model?

Hit the TARE button on the scale after you place the diff on the plate, then you don't have to worry about counting.

What about applying CA glue to the edges and counter sunk holes on the chassis plate, is it necessary?

It is desired but not 100% necessary. The theory is that the carbon fibers on the edges can separate when the car is stressed on the track but it is very very unlikely.

the manual recommends all edges and the front/rear countersunk holes, I applied glue to every edge and hole on the chassis and outer edge to shock towers.

So there's no need to sand the spider gears in the gear diff???

I'm in the process of building my '19 T4 and while spinning the drives by hand I felt no gear catching and I did not sand the gears.

48 and 64 pitch. xray makes those with multiple tooth choices.

it's 1.5g of diff oil, not 1.3g - at least concerning the manual of 2018
