    Saturday 10:30am
    A fun and energetic workout with routines to funky chart sounds. An introduction to the principles of jazz. Class work will incorporate exercises which develop strength and promote flexibility.

      Maybe not yet. I have danced jazz for 7 years now, and this was how I started out. They are all still very young, so instead of doing more jazzy combinations, they learn many of the basic steps that you see in professional choreography. In a few years, maybe they will be up to your standards

      This is how I started out when I first learned jazz. While adults learn more jazzy steps in the beging, children will learn these more basic steps that you can see in professional choreographies. For you it might not look like jazz yet, but I promise you, if these kids continue dancing they will dance closer to what you call jazz. Also, while wearing jazz shoes is great and all, most people I know actually dance in socks.
