R.I.P LIFT A 😭 but just asking... is maintaining the IFE more expensive than the Fujitec? Maybe they replaced Lift A because they needed a lift for the other side of the building? Also, if you go online again you can see a photo of the lifts before these.
What were the original lifts in blks 1-7 Telok Blangah?(blk 2 demolish 1988-1991) In block 4 video 1 comment stated that the lift used to have green interior and telescoping doors. Could they have merely been unique Fuji’s with telescoping doors while the 3room ownership blocks had regular 1door lifts?
blk 171 which is right opposite the road has its 1993s fujitec replaced one at a time now. Did u manage to visit that right after your visit of this block?
Aiya those type of fujitec everywhere also can find Even Bishan still got 30 storey one havent die yet and got older model at 750 jurong west why would anyone want to go chase that kind of common lift
Any idea which precinct the last original lift in Marine Parade estate was located? Was it blk 51-59 (GEC Express, replaced 2008 for MUP) or Blk 72-79 (Fuji, replaced 2009 if the lifts were not replaced in 1990s for IUP)
I was thinking if the LUPed areas (like blk 31/34) could have had old lifts that survived longer? idk what those shitma replaced seriously even IFEs are replacing express now
@@poteyatocheapp6978 those 2006-2007 Sigmas replaced Express elevators. That's the latest replacement of original elevator I've come across. Block 59 Marine Terrace - according to my dad who used to live there. Lozenge buttons, beige interior
Also can u go film the lifts in Marine Parade estate if u can. Feel that the place is rather ‘undocumented’ by lift enthusiasts. Pls include the brand of the original lifts if u can say ‘unknown’ if u can’t
@@poteyatocheapp6978 Nah I feel the limited-stop Express elevators (such as Block 66) are more interesting But then again they horribly replaced good shits so... no thanks to horrible replacements that remain as limited-stops.

The express lifts in blk 51-59 were replaced in c.2008 instead of 2006. I think they are the very last 1970s express lifts in hdbs
4:50 wtf
yes
Which is Fujitec/IFE?
Fujitec have the metal pattern with a diamond in the middle, IFE have a straight metal line at the window
The old lobby looks nicer

No. Can you do it yourself instead? I really don't have enough time and I'm sorry about that.
The lifts there are rather boring imo, i think the only "interesting" one is the 24-storey fujitec at Blk 71
@@poteyatocheapp6978 nah even that's boring it's completely replaced
