What I'm taking away from these clips is the degree of commitment you HAVE to have. I love Shaun's process " prepare for nothing ". OVER rehearsing can be just as detrimental as UNDER rehearsing. Yes, u folks do get to do what you love but you've earned that right. It's very important to not just be talented, but YOU must have likability & from where I sit you have that in spades ❤

I've got a headache with my mind being blown about the song being about Wham! You're right about lyrics being different to what you've always sung them. Learnt a lot from SingIt. Great interview, Shaun is a lovely chap to follow on Instagram, lots of behind the scenes and family stuff as well as music. Boys of Summer is still my favourite track of his. Kudos Crafty!

So, we lived in Dubai at the same time, Shaun! Which place were you performing by then?
I was in the Hard Rock Cafe for a couple of years and at Music Room in Majestic! The rest of the time was spent playing rock bottom and Safari bar at the Hyatt in Oman 🇴🇲

Pretty sure he was singing about his record label which basically had wham tied up. Then eventually he gave it up and signed with Sony at a massive financial cost. However he knew he had to do something. Good chat, great voice..
