I gotta say, this is beautiful. I love how the new dirt blocks and the baobabs create this feeling of actually being in a real savanna. As you said, colors are very important. I hope the vanilla savanna update will be close to this.
There should be elephants that are super rare in the savanna that you can ride similar to what ravagers are to pillagers. You’d have to craft a special diamond/netherite saddle to make it more difficult to use, and not such a huge advantage. You could even make them fear rabbits like how elephants fear mice.
Hello System Zee, I have a few ideas... If you ever make an additional update for the Savanna, please include mud hut villages. These structures of Dirt, Packed Dirt, Mudbrick Blocks, Dried Mud, and Thatch blocks would be interesting. Designed to fend off predators and the heat of the sun, they served a function. (I know, it's not really an original idea. But it is one that makes sense) The Thatch block is a new block. Made of 3 wheat and a Dried Mud block, it serves as roofing. The Thatch block is light tan in color and blends well with birchwood. Among the blocks, it is the most contrasting as the brightest block. (Optional, if these come in stair shape) Animals: Wild dogs... Using the wolf as a base shape, these brown and tan canines appear in groups around four. And taming them is the same as wolves.
yup but maybe call them painted dogs as conservation changed the name to help stop people killing harmless animals cause it has the word wild in it is kinda dumb but name changes can mean life and death for a species sadly
Hi Zee! I think you should do different varients of the water based reptiles, such as aligators for swamps and crocodiles for savannas in order to make it more realistic. Maybe aligators could be smaller and have greener texture also higher damage, while crocodiles could be much bigger and have more health. A change like this would be amazing. What do you think?
Would be cool to have lions, but instead of they being hostile mobs, they hunt other animals like zebras, attack players when come too close (I imagine they roaring at you and if you don't go away they start attacking you) but they also hunt hostile mobs like zombies, and even help players with that
I wanna see a cave village update where they have unique farms, professions and you can trade every ore for emeralds. It would be sick to go on a caving trip and finding a massive cavern with a fully functional village in. It would make series like "I survived 100 days underground" more fun and easier
Interesting, but villagers can't live in caves. They have day-night cycle and it will be like it's always night: monsters everywhere means golem dies, on hard mode zombies can break doors, which means that villagers die I'd like to see underground villages like in Stoneholm mod
@@cosmonaut5509 mojang announced that they're never adding thirst or temperature, because it makes the game too complicated. i still do think that those two are very good additions.
For a savanna Structure, I would like to see a small village carved into the side of a hill, and a new Illager type would populate these small villages; The Geomancer! The bad omen wouldn't activate a raid in a Geomancer Settlement, and they function like the wandering trader, instead of leveling up they would cycle through trades. A new piece of loot can be found in their settlements, Spearheads can be found as a trade option from a Geomancer, and can be put together with 2 sticks in a crafting table to make a spear. Spears are long-ranged weapons that give the user more reach, and can be thrown for extra damage. They have a slow attack speed and good damage NOTE: there is only a spear head item, no variants for iron, gold, diamond etc. But they can be used with Netherite to upgrade the damage output. The spear could create a really interesting combat style, with a mix of ranged and melee combat. They can also be enchanted with sword enchantments like sharpness and fire aspect, But also Piercing to break shields, and Loyalty to return to you after being thrown. These are essentially the combat version of a trident, which I had always hoped would be the melee and ranged mix for Minecraft combat.

Crocodiles seem like a great option for a hostile mob (I know Mojang doesn't like animals being agressive yet we need more hostile mobs). Everything else seems like a dream come true, hopefully Mojang gets inspiration from you.

I aleardy love the savanna biome i love so much the vibe of it and the look. I like the generation combination of mountains and flat ground. But this is better
I love how Zee does better than Mojang itself! I'd love to see some mud tribal houses with loot inside and some village revamps for the Savanna (maybe changing Baobab wood n plank's texture a bit to difference better, so colorblind people can appreciate them better).
This is the most fantastic savanna biome update concept I've ever seen, though if I were in charge there are quite a few new mobs which could spawn. Those could be termites, ostriches, giraffes, rhinos, elephants, hippos, vultures and some sort of predator like lions, hyenas or painted dogs which are very underrated
Features : *No more villages generate in Savannah. *Instead there will a new structure called ancient ruins on rarity scale this structure will be between the woodland mansion and stronghold. These are huge structures made out of new blocks added because it will match the theme and look more ruined and a chance of spawning a new boss difficulty scale between ravenger or wither. * Eye of ender are now harder to obtain because with blaze powder and ender pearl we now have to add dust dropped by the new boss. To locate stronghold and activate the portal.
An idea for a Savannah temple is that it could be a huge baobab tree that is carved out and it has loot guarded by giant terminates inside. It could also have run down mud and hay houses around it, some of then destroyed by termites.
Love those ideas, it could add newer Mobs like Savannah variants of zombies, New structures and new items, but I gotta say, This is would be perfect, Mojang should hire you, I think you knew a bit of Africa these days but keeps up the good work!
For structures, maybe a hunters cabin would be cool. It would also introduce a new mob, the hunter who could be similar to a villager as it would sale you items that you could only get from trading with it. This would also introduce new item that could serve different functions. I have to go now so I might come back and edit this.
We want a floating Island Biome Where there are ways which you can travel from island to islands using giant hanging roots that hangs vertically between islands, there must also new items like medium and small hanging roots, a type of flowers, grasses, moss, trees, plants rocks, blocks only available for that Biome including new mobs, Also please add some mist so that the area may appear indistinct from far distance, imagine standing on the edge of a floating Island and gazing other islands with hanging giant roots below and beautiful vegetation atop surrounded by partial clouds or mist. Oh that would look so Mystic and Majestic! Like I want to went up there and make a living for the rest of my life!
I feel like after the Zebras run around for a while you should get the dizziness effect, because when a herd sees any sort of predator they start running around to confuse the predator and make them sick. Idk if that applies with humans but it would be cool
This is amazing, its an update that fits into Minecraft and would be amazing to have. I do have one recommendation though, have saddles look regular but make them customizable using carpets (similar to llama customization). overall though, yet again an amazing update that fits into the game!
So in the Savanna Biome can you craft stones into cobble stone, and can you throw them as a weapon, can you craft a string and sticks into sling shots to shoot stones. And can you make mud bricks or bricks from savanna mud. While having a savanna shaman that sells herbs and potions. And savanna villages with medicine men heals you. And have a lion mob that kills creepers, and will kill and eat zombies and attacks skeletons. And add a safari Jeep, hat and clothes at a safari outpost where you can have a petting zoo, and herbs for medicine, and water buffalo being raised.
Since y’all added dry mud- maybe there could be old, run down mud huts with loot inside. Or old houses by termite hills that were devoured by them
That's a great idea
i assume they also use the same mechanics as concrete n water buckets

Love those ideas, it could add newer Mobs like Savannah variants of zombies, New structures and new items, but I gotta say, This is would be perfect, Mojang should hire you, I think you knew a bit of Africa these days but keeps up the good work!
4:52 if that is the case then FORCE THEM TO EAT
Now after seeing those Baobabs I was thinking: Man, lemurs would be great! Or a madagascar like biome with lemurs and fossa hahaha
You could have an elegant graveyard for the structure, the loot would be where other animals came to eat and dropped loot.
For structures, maybe a hunters cabin would be cool. It would also introduce a new mob, the hunter who could be similar to a villager as it would sale you items that you could only get from trading with it. This would also introduce new item that could serve different functions. I have to go now so I might come back and edit this.
You could potentially add termite mounds and termites to this biome as well. People eat them occasionally so it'd be a new food source
This guy literally makes updates that look like they could be in the real version of Minecraft, and they are all great ideas too
I love the updated Savannah and the blending of biomes!
Mojang has to see your videos for ideas this is awesome
Pls for the next "I cooded your idea into minecraft" make a magic potato that randomize every drop (mobs, blocks, ...)
I LOVE the color of the planks
System Zee: high five

System Zee:aaaaaaaaaaaaaa ow
i think it just needs giraffes and elephants and maybe even kangaroo's but overall i think it looks great
my brain at the thumbnail: I T S T H E C I R C L E O F L I F E
We want a floating Island Biome
Where there are ways which you can travel from island to islands using giant hanging roots that hangs vertically between islands, there must also new items like medium and small hanging roots, a type of flowers, grasses, moss, trees, plants rocks, blocks only available for that Biome including new mobs,
Also please add some mist so that the area may appear indistinct from far distance, imagine standing on the edge of a floating Island and gazing other islands with hanging giant roots below and beautiful vegetation atop surrounded by partial clouds or mist.
Oh that would look so Mystic and Majestic! Like I want to went up there and make a living for the rest of my life!
I loved this, you did a very cool concept and the zebras were a great touch !!
Love it! Savanna is my favorite biome!
Agnes: cave update delayed due to lack of time 😬😬😬
Zee: *makes an entire biome revamp in probably some weeks or so*
I feel like after the Zebras run around for a while you should get the dizziness effect, because when a herd sees any sort of predator they start running around to confuse the predator and make them sick. Idk if that applies with humans but it would be cool
If mojang hire this guy im sure minecraft will be more alive
SystemZee: This isn’t like any horse.
Me: Well for starters it’s a zebra.
Honestly mojang would never let alligators in Minecraft because they are a real life hostile mob
Maybe add a time machine that can take you to the dinosaurs and old loot. Or other places of the past.
I do hope he eventually ports a lot of these origin realms features to standalone mods. I doubt it will happen but I can at least dream of it.
Savanna update is probably the thing that would hype me most if they announce it at the Minecraft Live.
