    You 100 percent right, the dollar rate benefits us here but hurting the Ghanaian people and putting lots of pressure on their economy. The suppliers are selfish and greedy, they are contributing to the problems. The sad part is there is nothing anyone can do about it.

    • @webelonginafrica44
      @webelonginafrica44  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes bro they are killing the economy themselves. I can see if those same suppliers would at least offer a raise to their employees but they let the pay remain the same 🤦🏾‍♂️

    I'm so happy for you. From the video you showed your friends Air BNB but I had no idea you were going to build a three story building . I can't wait to see what it looks like when completed. You inspire me and I definitely will still have to bring you that plant when it's all completed. I will be there in September.

    Lack of safe work practices is a problem in Ghana and most African countries. Sometimes it is even hard to preach such practices to the trades as they feel their has worked for years without major issues so why change. All the same, majority of them are dedicated and get the job done. Thanks for the content

    You said it all. Its so unfortunate that they are doing it to each other, and the ignorance is real, making the consumers seriously believe that its the govts fault! They are not perfect up top, but hicking prices on each other 8:00 is definitely not coming from up top. They just took advantage of the global inflation, which is straitening up bit by bit around the world, but in a place like Ghana, with no rules to follow, people just do what they want, and no one to stop them. What a shame. They know they cant keep it up forever, this is Africa/Ghana, and this too shall pass. I remember when the cedi went as low as 1cedi=$26, just not long ago, and president Kuffuor came and saved it all the way down to almost$ 1 to 1cedis...so hang in there you'll see what happens.
