I mean, sure. I'm not trying to say you're wrong but saturator saturates everything including your sub. This can sound good - err.. maybe. But really the main thing you need is Multiband Dynamics. I'm only saying this because kids/bedroom producers are going to watch this and be like 'Oh okay, cool' - I mean do what you think sounds good, but...yikes. Also if anyone wants to challenge me. I learned from a Master Engineer that specializes in dubstep with over 10 years of producing under his belt. he's friends with squnto, svdden death, subtronics, and all the other 'loud Boyz'.
Marc ya I get what you’re saying, maybe instead this technique could be fine tuned by making an audio effect rack with saturation, and EQ afterwards to affect everything above a certain frequency like 120hz and above to leave the low end un-saturated
@@MKROOFFICIAL Hey man, Honestly I do enjoy your vids and I'm not trying to come at you in a hostile way. With the low end cut out on the eq you're still saturating all the drums and basses and FX which is already so compressed and saturated. You can accomplish a cleaner result using utility and a limiter, or just a glue compressor with the range at 0, soft clip on and makeup up +6dB. I only made this comment because kids (not you) post their tracks or post TH-cam vids with stuff like this - people take it seriously then go on and say their a producer. tbh It low key offends me because I spent over 8k on my laptop, school, plugins, monitors, etc, just to learn the correct way to mix/master. Like I said in my comment, 'Do what you think sounds good.' but man, there is a reason people don't make it. Again I'm not saying YOU, I think you're talented, seriously. and I'm not saying I'm going to make it either because I know a particular way over another person. Its just, you may as well have every group buss clipping and then just throw a limiter on the master. ya know?
So in theory, if you just nail the mix, all you need is saturator ... Question: when you remaster the track, don't you wanna do something about the clipping? You're definitely hitting red. And wouldn't you want to gain stage against a reference?
Dope stuff, have you already covered your method of side chaining with a ghost channel in a previous video?
carson creel currently no, but I’m pretty sure there’s other videos on TH-cam that show it!

Hey for real, dude. I think you're the shit. I'm not the best nor do I claim to be. I wish I was better at making riddim like you bro. Seriously.
Pls make a video on mixing pls pls pls

Show us how to do some Ganja White night basses and drop arrangement. their shit is catchy af.
Why don't you stage gain with digital clip on every channel, so you wont have to re master the track
Hmm...So weird... let's try it.
imthevirux don’t know until you try it! Let me know how it goes for you 😁
