RURAL & NORTHERN IMMIGRATION PILOT: Direct pathway to PR for STUDENTS & jobs for WORKERS in Canada

  • Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) program is a direct pathway for INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS to PR. Available NEW JOBS for FOREIGN WORKERS are also provided in this video.
    Sharing you the updates about RNIP. Aspiring international students should consider choosing to study in the participating communities so that after studying for 2 years or more, they can apply immediately for PERMANENT RESIDENCY.
    I provided the list of schools and institutions including the tuition fees. These colleges are also DESIGNATED LEARNING INSTITUTIONS (DLIs) and offer POST-GRADUATION WORK PERMIT (PGWP).
    For aspiring FOREIGN WORKERS, I also provided list of jobs in each PARTICIPATING COMMUNITIES.

      Thanks for watching and for the comment. If I am not mistaken, the most essential documents and requirements when you plan to be PR in Canada is Language Test and ECA.

      Prince Chetariya thanks for watching and for your comment. As per IRCC, you will be eligible to the exemption pf work experiencw if you studied for 2 yrs or more. So whether, you will have 2 programs, the total of fulltime studies is 2 yrs.

      Jona Balubar thanks for watching. Unfortunately, you can’t apply after studies but you can gain work experience in the communty and apply after that, you can now apply for this program.

    Regarding work experience, do we have to apply according to the experience gained in the last three years only or can we also apply for a job that suits our work experience gained 5 or 7 years earlier.
    Secondly, can we apply in more than two immigration programs, for example RNIP and OINP at the same (simultaneously) .

      jonfloresser I can recommend where I am now, Kitchener-Waterloo Region. Not too expensive unlike Toronto. But it is 45 mins away from Toronto by car. With regard to your program, that will depend on your previous background like work experiencw or unividersity course.

    Sir Jim.. Currently, I am here in Vancouver as an international student..if ever po ba mag apply ako sa rural areas mas malaki po ba ang chance ko na mainvite for pr?dito po kc sa large city is malaki po ang drawlot score so hirap pong maka recieve ng invitation to apply. Okay lng po kaya hindi ko tapusin ang school but I have 2 years work experience here sa vancouver as a cook.

      Jayvee Carampot that is why you need to make sure that you will comply and check your chosen community as they have different requirements. Because as per IRCC, the pilot itself will last fpr 5 yrs but it will still depend on the community.

      Sorry to hear that. What I suggest is to keep your eye to the newest pilot program this year with is the Municipal Nominee Pilot. I made a video on that but not fully detailed as it hasn’t been launched.

      jonfloresser My insights:
      1. If you want to ge to Canada asap, go for Study Pathway. It is costly but worth it and easy bridge.
      2. If you are not in a hurry, apply for RNIP so that no need to spend for tuition fee. You just need to find a job offer.
      3. For the community, I am not sure what will be the best community but remember that these are rural areas and not too populated.

      Bernadette Dela Pasion just to verify, are you pertaining to this program as OWP? Because this is not an OWP, it is restricted work permit in which you ahould only work to your employer and community.

      With regard to your question, what I know is that, even if your wife is experienced kindergarten teacher, she needs to get some certifications but it will still depend on the institution.
      Also, I suggest to go to the provinces like Atlantic once as it is easier to get PR there.

      ArisStrong thank you for watching. You need to study for at last 2 yrs for you to be eligible for the exemption in work experience criteria for RNIP application. 1 yr program is not enough. It must be 2 yrs or longer.

      ArisStrong make sure that the school is a public funded institution and located in one of the participating communities so that you will be eligible for the work experience criteria exemption.

      With that case, I am not sure what program should you choose. Sorry for that. With regard to IELTS, you need to comply with the college’s requirement so that you will be accepted.

      Ldn See thanks for watching and for the comment. I suggest to take 2 yr program so that you’ll get 3 yrs PGWP and that will be enough to get a Canadian work experience that you can use for your PR application. Eapecially this pandemic season.
      Your spouse can also be the primary applicant once eligible.

      Since you already have an MBA, make sure that your LOE is strong enough to defend why do you want to study for a 1-yr grad cert. Also, you can still apply for RNIP, you just need to comply to their requirements.
