Something that wasn't mentioned, but I believe that ANS strikes are also much stealthier than their OSP counter parts, in part BECAUSE of those internal Bays.
@@TheEngineeringTactician well that kinda stinks. I wonder if it would be possible for the actual number of craft in a flight to be hidden or inaccurate until they got a bit closer due to the stealth.
Make sure you've got the right sensor module (8km Radar or Winard) equipped and also bear in mind that some craft/ships have small enough signature size you won't see them near the max distance of radar.
I want OSP to get what basically amounts to a space bomb truck. Like an ore carrier, loaded up with a boatload of explosives and a rudimentary navigational Al, and it's just pointed in the general direction of enemy craft. And you could shove everything from a giant plasma flask to what is basically a low-yeild dirty bomb. Not sure if the latter would fit in the lore.
Is there a debug console for the new AI? I sometimes do weird things (eg 2 corvettes vs 3 shuttles skirmish) and it’s acting weird (eg never firing on me!)
We're in the early stages of everyone figuring out the patch's tools & toys. Try to keep an open mind as builds are still very much in experimental phase.
Both factions should have gotten a fleet carrier. When the osp can field 60is craft with one ship, and I struggle to break 30 at best on mine... feels bad, man. Especially when evey ANS vs osp fighter intercept is a 2v1 at best because the AI just lobs out flights of 10 at a time
@@patrickcoleman6429 ANS Carrier build with 1 Levy isn't supposed to match a Moorline, go 2 Levies, or 1 Levy + escorts / combat ships that can fill an anti fighter duty. Don't take dogfights with OSP fighters unless you're using coiltantos, you will lose Use Lunges with 65 damage warhead to one shot Cudas Barracudas take about 90s to 2 mins to rearm, while your Tantos take about 45s. Take fights around your ships and try to bait bad missile shots into your PD to preserve fighters and waste OSP fighter missiles.

unfortunately, not really no. Tanto's still get picked up out at 7km by parallax nose-in, no pylons
I noticed that in the descriptions on both the Tantos and the Claymores, but I'm not sure how big of difference it makes in game.

Skiff Advanced Radar has the same radar stats basically as the Bridgemaster, which is to say not very good (but has great track quality)

It's hard to do that when you ask "so what's good about the ans bomber" and the other person goes "ehhhh ..."

@@rzu1474 Rearms faster (about 50s to rearm vs about 90s for OSP bomber), flies faster, and harder to detect especially with jamming.
