- This is our visit to Fort Cooper State Park in Inverness, FL. We hiked to the lakeside and then on to the remnants of old Fort Cooper along the Old Military Road and the great Withlacoochee State Trail. This is a great small park to check out. Come with us and check our this beautiful state park.
