When I was in the Navy I was on a Nuclear Aircraft Carrier. For the annoying new people on the ship we would tell them to go to the O-10 level to get some McDonalds, I buy, you fly. There is no O-10 level there is only 9 from the main deck. It kept them busy and out of our hair for at least an hour and humbled them. Other departments that caught on would continue with adding to the directions of where it is.
Having worked for McDonald's, I can promise you that the onion's on the Double Cheeseburger are NOT fresh. They're dehydrated onions that they soak in water to rehydrate and voila, minced onions for your sandwich.
And I love them!! I always order extra with my burgers. I think with the extra onion they taste like White Castle, which I can't get fresh where I live.
The onions aren't fresh at McDonalds. They're dehydrated and then rehydrated for 15 minutes in some water. That's actually what makes McDonalds' cheeseburgers taste so good. If you put fresh onions in, it just doesn't taste like McDonalds at all. You should also use sweet (american) mustard and soak the sweet-and-sour pickles in brine water and rinse them. Another essential step is to toast the buns on one side on a pan or hot plate untill the heat goes through and they're warm to the touch . If you toast the bread on or under a grill it will just dry up.
Looks more photoshop/clickbait vs AI generated. It'll draw in more views like the low effort trash on this site but they'll be rewarded with an actually good video so I think it's fine as is. though you do have a point.
@Plasmastorm73 And that was a royal bitch to figure out how to do it. It took Nantick (the MRE test kitchens) years to crack the code for that. To do it on a scale that the military needs would have astronomical costs.
@ebro3328 It might be nice, but not worth the effort. They might be able to give you a burger in the field,(Think Canadian IMP bread). The milkshake you'd may have in US MREs.
Meh. I worked at Oregon Freeze Dry Foods in the early 1970s. (They make Mountain House freeze dried meals for campers) You would not believe the research and development work they put into their products back then. I can’t imagine how much they do now. If they wanted to do it, they could, and would make it economically feasible. There just isn’t a market for it.
the actual best way to preserve food without it degrading in quality for years is to simply put the food into an R.T.D pod, magnetically suspended inside of a circular vacuum tube the pod is propelled to relativistic speeds by directed anti matter explosive rocket nozzles, the pod and its contents experience time slower the closer to light speed it goes thus sealing in freshness without sacrificing taste or texture like other primitive methods do.
Or if you have access to cubed time and 5 spacial dimensions. You could just teleport to a McDonald’s and steal a fresh one at any given point in space, or time “instantly”.
@@shardinhand1243 ahaaaaa yes!!! but at the speed of light. You can now loop through with the Z time dimension. And you won’t be or not needed to be in a new timeline if intended
