I've been using this for the last couple of years. Excellent sounding booth. I use it with the back door slid down and not open (as you demonstrated in this video). It does the job. EQ can smooth out any "boxy" feel you might have but that has not been a problem for me. I'm just trying to figure out a solution for mounting a 14" monitor inside.
That space where thoose Monitors stand, Looks good. Wood is the best akustik material , it has a certain Vibration that counters standing waves , bass traps with wood Cover sound much better then without and almost every Instrumente was made of wood for centurys
@@realhomestudioofficial i Had this , Sended it Back after the First Test Maybe spoken Word , Whisperer But for louder voice or singing its a hell Oh No Try Vomo by vocal Booth to Go Its simpler , Same price , more portable an recording gets better Still Not 💯 But far better then t Akustik one
It looks much better than the sE Electronics one I have. However I recently bought two of their 6ft acoustic foldable panels and some foam to go on top which makes a nice booth for vocals and acoustic guitar for around the same price.
Echoey recordings at home: It's far more a case of poor mic choice + poor mic placement than gear. I can spot it whenever people send me vocal takes from wardrobes and these shields. They put a strange creepy "in a box" feel that can only ever be amplified during mixing. Your 'condenstion' mic in the room sounds far more natural than the odd take in the box (which I doubt makes a singer feel more comfortable and emotionally engaged). :-)

I honestly think it sounds much better out of the box

Just stand between the mic and a blanket And turn them headphones down

Stupidest thing. Its literally the opposite of cleaner recording. The noise comes from behind you, not behind the cardioid mic
Get two, climb inside, and no one will hear you snap your neck
