This guy is seriously underrated. Always pulls out unique and sick sounding riffs i’ve never heard before. He’s so humble about it too.

Great riffs as usual Nate, and dig the sound. Those new push buttons seem to make a nice difference! (Be watching for the v3 B7Ks coming soon... lol.) Am I the only one noticing the noise here though? There's no way I could put that through my band's IEM setup and send that hiss directly into everyone's ears. I had the same problem with the Alpha Omega Ultra. 😒

Darkglass is king for me right now, I run 2 of their preamps in series, I have a soft spot for EBS too, people get all wet over Sansamps, had one although decent wasn't overly impressed, horses for courses I guess.
I love these, just wish you could get them with all the goodies, and skip the eq section or at least provide a way to true bypass it.

Wow, how did you get it to sound so precise and clear? I have a vintage ultra and any amount of drive on it just makes it sound wooly. I suspects its my amp setup

NATE NAVARRO, What are those pieces of metal you have between your pickups it looks like u made them for a thumb rest or mint for what reasons? I'm not sure where to buy them since I don't know the names of the products

Just starting out on bass! Is this a good tool for beginners or would it be better to invest in an amp first?
Amp first
This feels like something better for a musician that gigs. The MXR M80 Bass Di is a great option for a beginner, but Amp is first so you can at least hear yourself.
Another vote for getting a good amp first. 🕺🏼

That moldable plastic is really useful for a lot of things, but since I discovered BONK, I have him make all of my ramps, including the one on this bass. He's on Reverb here: reverb.grsm.io/BONK
