    I’m 15 years old and a week ago I was diagnosed cancer free, the battle is over but now the grind starts. I know this video is 7 years old but I will follow your steps and continue grinding non stop, I’m alive and I’ll keep living the hell of it.

    I'm so glad you fought and survived cancer. I know several people who have struggled or passed away from the potentially deadly disease. Stories like this motivate me to do my own body transformation. The following things run in my family: obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and of course cancer as well. I however am kinda doing the opposite of you: slimming down while building muscle. This motivates me to go through the hard and dedication to achieve the body of my dreams. Thanks for this Zack.

    I heard he had doctor prescribed testosterone, which is what made him bounce back super fast. I'm sure his form is not the best and maybe he was a bit clueless here and there. But after you survive fighting cancer, this kid should have been given those muscles without him trying. He is a fighter amd he deserves every asthetic piece of muscle he holds.

    • @Sbarrett1
      @Sbarrett1 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe, but I think it was muscle memory that bounced him back to where he is now.

    • @joannazeiler4798
      @joannazeiler4798 10 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      silver350z94, his chemotherapy ended in June 2012, and radiation therapy in August 2010, he has not taken anything, other than antibiotics/sinus allergy/headache medications, since then, as his immune system was compromised from the side effects of treatment. Last year he spent quite some time in talking with his physician's assistant in regards to to the questioning of the chemo meds that he was given and she told him that they would have had NO effect on his body/muscle building.

    • @TheMummy516
      @TheMummy516 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I wouldn't give him shit for that personally. He used a substance he was prescribed to his advantage, Nothing wrong with that IMO. Same thing as dudes in their 40's who get put on TRT and start lifting while being on it.

    • @Sbarrett1
      @Sbarrett1 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Rasa Bliat Muscle memory is real. Muscle cells have more than one nucleus and muscle mass is almost directly correlated with nuclei build up in the muscle cells. When you work out and have a lot of muscle, your body develops more nuclei in the muscle cells but when you stop working out, you lose muscle mass, but not nuclei in the cells. That means that building up muscle mass for a second, third, forth, etc. time is incredibly easy compared to the first time.

    People who says he takes steroids must be really dumb fucks. He survives something that could have ended his life, and then he turns to something that COULD make the chance bigger to get for example livercancer?
    That is more like begging to die seriously. Go in his shoes, and really think if you would turn to a drug that messes with health when you recently had some SERIOUS health issues.
    And he isnt even big. Lean = appear bigger. Not to take anything away from him, he is amazing. But 4 years you could even have come further natural to be honest. Dont need steroids, except if you gonna be a competetive bodybuilder.
    Still he is truly a major inspiration for anyone, not just lifters but life in a whole.

    I dont understand why people argue over roids, if he takes them or not does not matter.
    He's saying he dont so intill proven otherwise you should take his word for truth.
    And to the people that shouts roids, they dont give you a great body for free. If you workout half assed like most people do and you use roids you are gonna get the same or worse results as a hardcore gymrat without roids and eats/train like a beast.
    Cheers Zach and nice that you kicked cancers butt.

    If you people think he hasn't taken anything you are plain stupid...I take actual gear (100mg tren a EOD, 400mg test p a week, 100mg mast EOD) and there is no way you can reach your genetic limits in three years like he did. I must admit he was natural up to a certain age, but come on....Let's be serious here he is/was on something there is no way you can get that grainy look and keep that much muscle on because your body will become catabolic if you lose too much fat and start breaking your muscles down.....Either way hard work got him there even though he was on gear

    • @rickchad4749
      @rickchad4749 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Agreed. Anyone with a little hint of knowledge on AAS and cycle would immediately spot that this kid is on gear. Whoever says this kid is natural have absolutely no knowledge regarding steroids and its various effect on the body

    • @tomriddle198
      @tomriddle198 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just because you may have "some" knowledge on steroids dose not mean you know a justifiable amount when it relates to the endocrine or muscular systems.

      Firstly, your vocabulary is appalling. Secondly, you misquoted, even mis-paraphrased me. And I clearly stated that you WOULDN'T understand. Just because you understand one aspect, dose not merit a blanket statement without knowing all the facts about the individual (as well as understanding all aspects of the endocrine system). Hope that wasn't too complicated for you : )

    Do you idiots think he literally went from the hospital to lifting weights the next day,? recovering from cancer is not easy, he had to get his strength back, and gain the weight back before working out, he needed to be in good health to even start. Stop jumping to conclusions about taking steroids. Have some respect!!
    He his still alive, hes a survivor and he deserves to live his life to the fullest. Stop judging and saying rude comments. You have no idea what its like to be a survivor. You have no room to judge. Hes not sharing his story so all you assholes can point a finger, hes making a statement! !!!!
    You look great, you deserve happiness and to have a fullfilled life. Im sure your family is so proud of the man youve become and the type of example you want to set. Keep it up!

      Michelle, Zach battled his way back, two months after chemotherapy ended and one month after radiation therapy ended, Zach marched right back into being a drummer in our HS band, all with his port still in his chest, than, in October, he tried out for our HS basketball team, and was given a seat on the team, than in the Spring, Zach bounced back into being a pole vaulter on our HS track team, his first vault since cancer, he cleared 10"6. I'd say that was pretty good.
      And his Senior year, after another mass was found and removed from behind his tongue, he came back and cleared 12"6 in pole vaulting. Every day he continues to strengthen.
      Thank you for your kind words as the ignorant that speak have no clue what a journey of cancer does to a family, and fortunately we don't need anyone's sympathy, only looking for a little understanding for those that battle through!

    • @seaschell

      & I have complete understanding. Colon cancer is in my family and has taken the lives of all the wome. On my fathers side Including my grandma, only one women remains my aunt whom was diagnosed in the 90s with years to live. She will soon be the longest living women on my dads side. Her son got it when he was a senior in high school and it took away so many things from his senior experience. He now lives with a colonoscopy bag.
      Im so glad you responded, I was wondering if someone would. I get so upset at ppl for being ridiculous.

    Personally i find that this guy's transformation absolutely amazing, the amount of hard work put in this must be incredible.
    However i would also like to point out if you are on treatment for cancer (especially if you are on chemo) you do get prescribed medical steroid to prevent muscle loss/atrophy. Not the crazy kind like stacks of 30000 mg tren+clen+test+deca or anything just to help maintain and recover your lost muscle during chemo/cancer treatment. Do realize however, AAS can work as a "trampoline" (the more force you push the higher you will jump. the size of the trampoline does not determine how high you can jump, its how you use it"
    I'm just saying. I'm not pointing fingers or trying to put this guy down or anything. but you guys need to be aware of the situations and the medical substances that a person with cancer can acquire.

    Steroids or not this is impressive you guys seem to ignore the fact he's a cancer survivor. Personally, I've never had it but some family members have and they suffered so to come back from that to any extent is an accomplishment. Congrats on beating cancer and great job bro keep doing you and screw these keyboard warriors.

    • @TheJonas973
      @TheJonas973 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** I'm sorry but where exactly did I say steroids were okay? That is an invalid assumption that you made. And as of the time I wrote that comment he was a survivor therefore BEAT cancer. I'm not the "fool" who congratulates him for taking steroids, I'm congratulating him on the progress he has made regardless of the use of drugs despite having suffered from the disease. And for future reference be careful on how you word your comments. You might end up sounding like a self-righteous, pretentious douche.

      adfa afasd Post a video of how you look like! ;-) then no need to HATE ON HIM! "If you training so much and would look aesthetic as he does".
      ATTENTION! Hormons and other enhancing drugs, won't make you look talented, except if you would be already! :) other thing is, i know many people who does and even have lots of discipline, but still don't look good and there are muscle in their body which aren't symmetrical. because we all are different and drugs don't make miracle. in the end, genetically gifted or not! TO LOOK YOUR BEST, YOU GOT WORK HARD!!! PERIOD!

    You never bulked. You maintained a low single digit bodyfat all year round and your vascularity and shreddedness is on an enhanced state. It's just plain ridiculous that you claim to be natural at your current state at 19.
    You practically has the shreddedness and feathered look-like Jeff Seid (minus the size) and pretty much everyone in the fitness community knows he's cruising. But unlike Jeff who's been training since 12 (currently 20), you started training at 15 from a cellularly fucked-up, beaten-up body of a cancer survivor and then say you achieved that fitness level in less time NATURALLY?
    Cut the crap. I mean, c'mon mate!
