  • Chick-fil-A is ridiculously successful! In this video I visit a Chick-fil-A to show you what the experience is like. But even though I have over 30 years of experience owning and operating restaurants, I would never buy a Chick-Fil-A! In this episode I will give you the top five reasons why not.

    FYI you can have more than one location. Our local operator has 3 (2 brick and mortar, one mall food court). Around 15% of all operators have multiple units.

      Thanks for taking the time to reply. I was talking pretty fast, but *** DISCLAIMER*** I quickly said, "for the most part" in the video. They do offer experienced successful operators additional opportunities from time to time per their website description. I had no idea it had gotten up to 15 percent, wow! I think they are struggling to a to find the level of operator they are accustomed to so they are starting to give more stores to established operators to fuel growth as they increase expansion. I'm just speculating on that. Thanks again for the comment!

      Shut you up pretty quick😂😂😂 have people that watch videos and don’t pay attention, that’s how you know they wouldn’t make it owning a business

      Interesting video so now knowing this information. Owning a Chik Fil A is a lifelong investment. But at apprx 300,000/year, what are the operator’s responsibilities? What are Chil Fil A’s responsibilities. Who does payroll and pay the income taxes on the business. You need to give more info and not just 5 reasons why.

    So basically you pay 10k in order to be hired as a restaurant manager and your salary is based on how well you run it.
    What would be the difference between some chain simply hiring store operators on a salary + heavy bonuses based on performance?
    Same thing essentially?

    So do they actually require that you work 40 hours a week or whatever hugh number inside your restaurant?
    Can not you own 1 and work like 20 hours a week inside? (And rest of your time spend on other businesses)

    You cannot buy a Chick Fil A!!!!! No franchisee owns anything. They are operators. Corporate owns all buildings and equipment. Operator has zero equity.

    On my first visit I thought that having only the 2 pickles was because of COVID shortages. That was the worst sandwich I have ever tried eating. I threw half to the seagulls.

    I thought they took half?
    Wouldn't that make it $150k a year for the operator?

    • @therealpaulreiser
      @therealpaulreiser  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The $300K is the amount left to the operator after Chik fil a takes half. So the average profit would be $600K , chik fil a gets half and the operator gets half. Thanks for checking out my video and taking the time to comment!

    McDonald's own all their franchisees real estate as well.
    The franchises is open in some case 24 hrs a day.
    It cost a fortune to own a McDonald's franchise.
    Their training for hiring employees doesn't seem good.
    Chick-fil-A seem to be a wonderful experience to visit.
    The employees seem to love their job.

    Average 5M in sales at a Chick-Fil-A. Did QSR magazine say what the figure was for Sonic?

    So glad I found this channel. Sonic offers mobile pick up orders which is cool. But why the fuccccccccccccccc yall didn’t give correct order when we modify some items. So for eg if I want mayo and mustard on my burger why cannot you add that. You charge extra for jalapeños but why can’t you add that to y order? If I’m asking oreo and snickers blast y’all better be giving them.

    • @therealpaulreiser
      @therealpaulreiser  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Alex, I'm so glad you found this channel as well! You should be able to customize your order... but hey, technology sometimes doesn't like to cooperate! In your app after pressing the burger you want you can then hit the button that says "customize". You touch the items you want to take off or add, this should include jalapenos. If you are not getting exactly what you want, they may be reading the order wrong in the kitchen, unfortunately that happens sometimes. Please call the Sonic you are visiting, or press the red button at your stall when you get there to ask for assistance. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking out my channel!
