The Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" is an undeniable rock anthem. However, Brian Jones, the band's original multi-instrumentalist, reportedly harbored a strong dislike for the song. While the exact reasons remain unclear, several factors contribute to this curious case of musical aversion.
Regardless of Jones' true feelings towards the song, "Satisfaction" became a defining moment for The Rolling Stones. Its success solidified their status as rock icons, a legacy that continues to this day. The song's enduring popularity stands in stark contrast to Jones' complex relationship with it, serving as a reminder of the multifaceted nature of artistic creation and reception.

I like Satisfaction so very much! I can hear it all day❤❤❤ But I also like Brian Jones to much.. Always my favourite ❤❤❤❤❤
I like Satifaction but it’s so massively overrated. I really don’t think the riff is that brilliant
You're not a brilliant speller! SO BE QUIET! NO ONE cares what you "think"
🔝...
Jones was pretty peculiar in his tastes … diss “Satisfaction” but like “I Got You Babe”? THAT one’s a turd! Yet, he did come around to like “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”.
That interview seems to be when the torch was passed from Brian to Mick and Keith. Obviously much of this had to do with Jones’ intense dislike for Andrew. Or so we’ve read.
✌️
That's strange! Bill says in his memoir Mick and Keith didn't want it to be the single but were outvoted by Bill, Charlie AND BRIAN .The Popeye The Sailor thing was joke that Keith said he used to go along with.
Bull likes to tell all sorts of lies about the early Stones.
The funny part of it is that he wasn't even there. The band started in April of 62 and Bill didn't join until late December.
@@williardbillmore5713 The video confirms what Bill said about Satisfaction. He was there when it was released, wasn't he? He was in the band from 62 (as you said) to 93 if I'm not mistaken. That's more than 30 years.
@kers Bill has constantly told lies and fantasies about the Stones early days and he still does to this day. He has always shown disdain and an agenda of discrediting and slander towards Keith and especially Mick.
I do not believe a word he says or has written about his time with the Stones or anything for that matter..
The lies and mythology saying that Brian auditioned every band member and chose who he wanted in the band and that Brian founded it by himself and that he alone chose the music that they played can all be traced directly to Bill Wyman and his ridiculous lies about a time when he was still eight months away from being a member.of the band.
Quotes from Bill Wyman are only proof that Bill said those things and have nothing to do with factual evidence. He is a serial liar.
@@williardbillmore5713Some might say Bill is the best source of truth. He keeps the records and wasn't in a drug haze.Charlie just nodds like a Churchill dog
@@randybackgammon890 Some might say that , but they would be dead wrong. Bill is the biggest source of bad information about the Stones out there. He takes delight in spreading lies about Keith and especially Mick. Watch him with his mischievous grin and smirk on his face when he spreads lies about how Brian formed the band and auditioned Mick and Keith.
It is pure nonsense.
Satisfaction a can Get no et tous les autres tubes, faisaient fumer les vinyles 🎧 et render folles les isteriques.
Great fantasic
🎉
Mick killed Brian!!!!
Brian was as responsible for his life as any of us are responsible for ours. Stop worshipping Brian. When people disagree so much with the rest of the band they go off on their own and join other groups or start their own. . Nobody killed Brian ; he wasnt a child . He was too weak to keep his shit together and make it on his own .
Keith, originally, wasn't a fan of Satisfaction either and didn't want it released as a single.
baby come back... to.. me...
Brian was overcome with jealousy
He was a huge talent. If he didn’t like the direction of Mick and Keith’s leadership, he should have branched out on his own. And Satisfaction is a mainstream song that has little to no depth. Brian was blues based, not pop.
@@patricialovelace9689 Yet ironically it was only once Brian was jettisoned the Stones actually started playing blues
I hope that the Stones are not getting too old, that they really can't get any satisfaction, anymore. I don't think that my old grandpa has had any satisfaction since 1946. But "Satisfaction" was one their great hits, for good reasons, with the driving drums and ripsaw guitar. Brian Jones would have been crazy not to appreciate it, like millions of kids did.
No, the guy who rebuilt his house killed the wxnker. But he was already on his way out by himself so..
Right. Mick and Keith were writing shit. Sounds like a bitter little guy (5'6"). The Stones ARE Mick and Keith, he knew it, and The Stones are for the ages.
Jones was a sick bastard and a horrible person.
If Satisfaction was "SHIT", I wish they were more shit NOW!
Jones was an underachieving contrarian and a psychopathic malignant narcissist.. He envied Mick and Keith for their ability to write hit songs like Satisfaction and he still managed to delude himself into believing that he was the star of the show..
Sounds like jealousy from Jones to me.
Just goes to show what poor judgemental Brian had, as a band member hoping to succeed
