If you divide laps by 2= 15. Hips ÷4= 11.25. Plus 2= 13.25. You obviously do not need a prophet to tell you that your hips measurement is absolutely wrong. Cos hips ÷4 (+2) should be either bigger than or equal to laps divided by 2. So in this case, please make your Hips 50. Moreover, for a short, the Hips is not meant to be same as the Hips of a Trouser. Short is a free outfit. GoodLuck

Should I cut it off and also to added two inches allowance to the back when cutting. And I've watched some other videos you posted when joining the two together, I didn't see any excess
