Hey, great to see you using a Pearl product! I own two Pearl razors- SS-01 (Close Comb, 3 Piece), and SS-95 (Twist to Open). Both are great! Regarding buying, I bought them off Amazon here in India, but don't see the Blaze listed right now.
Wow. Thats a good 200 dollars worth of shaving goodness. Pearl makes some great stuff as you'll discover. I shaved with the Pearl Flexi today and it's one of my fav razors in the league of other razors I own from Razorock, ATT, Timeless, Charcoal Goods, Karve and others..... enjoy the shaves
Hey man idk your first name I just wanted to say thank u for getting me introduced to wet shaving. It's a 100 times better than the garbage I was putting on my face. I recently bought the King c Gillette and i love it
I have the Flexi, and I love it. Very well made, shaves beautifully, very heavy. Mu only quibble is the adjustment know doesn't have any clicks or stops, so if you're not careful you can accidentally change the setting without realizing it. Methinks you'll enjoy that one.
Even though China and India are neighbors, its crazy how much better Indian-made products are. From the cars to the jewelry to the razors, everything's built like absolute tanks. Those metal industries ain't kidding around!
Great video and spot on review. I received this razor yesterday and shaved with it last night for the first time. I had 4 days of growth and it cut right through it with an Astra platinum. This razor is so smooth, and it's efficient as well. It actually reminded me of the shave I get with my Karve Overlander without the drag. The blaze did so well on my face I decided to trust it for my head shave, and it is a great head shaver, much like my overlander. This razor is very sturdy, well made, and the plating is spectacular. Buy this razor !
I did a quick search for Pearl Shaving Blaze and got a links to maggardrazors and some others. Looks like the price is somewhere around $36-40 for the razor. Thanks for the video! :)
Thanks. It looks like they didn't code their dot com site for selling in the US, but distributed to vendors like Maggard's. Good price for a razor SL loves!
ı've bought Pearl L-55 today. And after watching your rewiew ı'll be going on with Blaze and Flexi following get used to wet shaving with a razor. Thanks.
Madhab Metal Industries manufactures these razors in India, not outsourced from China. You can find both this Blaze and Flexi listed on the Indian website. They also make many other affordable razors. Pearl Flexi is an adjustable razor very similar to Rex Ambassador.
I was glad to see that I wasn't the only one that couldn't find the pricing info. I looked for it before I watched your video. I had some surgery on my right hand so I have been forced to use an electric razor for 5 weeks but the cast came off today and watching your video has me all fired up and ready for a real shave. I have been using the Twig but after your video I think I may go for my Jagger since it is a heftier, more traditional DE. Thank you Sinatra Lennon.
Wow that razor looks stunning and very shiny metal there and very interesting/ funky looking new shaving brush there from India. Thank you very much for sharing another amazing and exciting/ exhilarating shaving/ unboxing video Mr. Sinatra Lennon. Thank you, Tom from UK.
You can buy the Blaze on Fendrihan's site (on sale last I looked). They carry the Flexi as well (got mine from them on sale last fall) but were sold out last time I was on there.
The Flexi is an adjustable razor based on the Gibbs made of brass and similar in ways to the Rex Ambassador. It’s well made and heavy. I like the way it shaves but it’s actually a bit too heavy for me. I’m a “mild” razor fan so I’ve only used it on lower numbers. I don’t own an Ambassador so have not compared but Sig Solo has.
I find the Flexi mild on all settings. I need to use it on 6 for all three passes to get a BBS out of it. VERY smooth, but could be more efficient (IMO). Love it, nonetheless.
Seems like an excellent razor. I could only find one in Australia on eBay. At $80 I think I’ll pass. I’ve got a Rockwell 6S that will do me for a while. Have a great weekend!
Hi S/L . Great products.. Enjoy them. I can tell you seem to have that coffee rush thing going on. Lol Have a great day & I pray all is well with the family. (VLS)
Excellent video and shave! The razor looks to be relatively inexpensive, here in the states, depending on where you shop for it. But it does look really good and seems to perform like a top tier razor so that's good. The soap seemed to lather well and seemed to have plenty of slickness to it but I can understand how it feels to shave with a soap with a scent that you're not a fan of. Not fun. Would you consider trying any American safety razors like PAA razors or other razors by Stirling? Those seem to be quite good according to some folks in the wet shaving community. Also there is the Karve shave co out of Canada that makes some wonderful razors. So many great razors out there and so many great soaps! A wonderful time to be a wet shaver! Have a great day and great weekend, God Bless! 🪒
The head looks slightly like a Muhle Rocca, but the posts are too big (long). The Flexi is good now. Maggards sells these, $40, not sure if they still have a 10% sale today......might be over.....
I'm from India and have quite a few Razors now including a 1958 D1 Gillette Toggle, the Rex Ambassador etc....but I got into proper shaving with a cheapo Pearl off Amazon here in India a year ago. I don't like Pearl because the Flexi was a copy of the Rex Ambassador and most of their other Razors are generic looking Razors. The Blaze is the only one in their entire catalogue that looks interesting, I think it's time to place an order. Hope it's slightly more aggressive than my Henson AL13, another great 3-piece Razor from Canada.
I know I saw geofatboy show those washers in a video for the reason you mentioned and he sells them on his website. How is the Muhle blade? I have a Muhle razor but have yet to try the Muhle razor blade they sent with it. Looking online their blades did seem very expensive. Thanks for the video again. How long did it take you to switch to Feather blades? The more I shave the more I am liking sharper blades. The head on that razor looks like it would be good at getting those pesky under the nose hairs.
Neutron💈💈nice shave. You don't like Tootsie Roll on your face? bet you did when you were a kid. Nice razor for $40+/-, all brass construction, CNC and plated. Good score there, lots of goodies. Water? Say hi to Greg for us. Enjoy!

I’m watching today’s shaving video on my new 65 inch 4k tv. I can see every flaw on your face. Yikes. I would not want to see my face in 4k. I had a shave with my twig thorn razor. What a nice razor to do everyday shaving.

I believe the Pearl is on Sale at Fendrihan shaving for $36 US approx. I like the looks of the handle myself.

That’s great! I’m Brian, by the way.
This razor is worth so much more. It’s my daily driver. Love this razor. Real value for money product. 👌🏼
I agree!

I had been using pearl razors and had been watching your videos for a long time. Pearl razors are good. Love from India 👍
I have been using the bombay shaving company razor ,having a nice time with it🇮🇳
Even though China and India are neighbors, its crazy how much better Indian-made products are. From the cars to the jewelry to the razors, everything's built like absolute tanks. Those metal industries ain't kidding around!
You get what you pay for. Both offer products across the spectrum.

Very cool. Great razor.
Yes, they are manufactured in the Indian state of Gujarat.

Hi Mr. Lennon, great video, thank you, have a great weekend!
Sinatra nothing beats a safety razor's and a good soap!!!!
Great shave as always brother love your channel always!!!!
That Blaze is a good looking razor and a decent value at $40, but I wish it was available in unplated brass.
Wow that razor looks stunning and very shiny metal there and very interesting/ funky looking new shaving brush there from India. Thank you very much for sharing another amazing and exciting/ exhilarating shaving/ unboxing video Mr. Sinatra Lennon.
Thank you,

That’s so cool that the products are from Gujarat, India. My parents grew up there. I wonder if they do importing to the US
You can buy the Blaze on Fendrihan's site (on sale last I looked). They carry the Flexi as well (got mine from them on sale last fall) but were sold out last time I was on there.
Maggard razor
Pearls are great. They make fine razors. I welcome you to try trigodon a shaving soap from India !!! Great video.

It is on their website. It costs 5 time more than other razors. In fact, it is prominently featured on their site.
Look forward to the pearl flexi review. Nice video!!!

It’s top 5 for sure.
