- Here in downtown Fresno, Chinatown you can find the best Adobada Tacos in California at La Elegante - 1423 Kern St. Fresno, CA 93706. The most delicious explosion of flavors in one bite is a must try. La Elegante has also been featured on Food Networks article: Golden State Grub: The Best Things to Eat in California and made their top places to eat in California. These tacos will make you come back for more.
After we ate some tacos, we went to Gelateria Del Centro and ate some Gelato. The place is in historic downtown Fresno near Fulton St and Tuolumne Street. Come eat here when you have a sweet tooth, or you are craving some Gelato.

Not sure if its due to where its located, but La Elegante has very limited hours. I've always wanted to try but its only open during lunch hours during Monday through Friday.
I agree, their hours of operation are unusual. Tues-Sat 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. But if you ever get a chance to stop in when they’re open you won’t regret it!

They have a truck Thursday thru Sunday 11-3 I think. It’s on the side street of pick a part. The truck is baby blue. Can’t miss it
