@@MsKhrystabel Sure thing! I did it through Iowa State’s Website where they asked you some General questions about the classes you took and the credits you have. They also ask you a short response question if I remember correctly. Not too bad. I heard back within about a month.
No, it's mostly sunny and flows with most of the places around. Meaning it ranges like it does everywhere else. The winters are delayed here tho and starts to snow maybe the same week as finals!
This is different than the other dorm i saw, are some only for freshman...and then higher? Or just depending on what u want to spend? My daughter will be attending next fall.
Any year can live in any apartment. They will try to assign based on major but that doesnt mean it will be a better apartment or anything. It's so the roommates she will be with are in a similar majors. Like I said if you get a different style, 2 bedroom, 4 bedroom, the styl we of the apartment changes. Other than that they are pretty similar
@@renovatedmind I've looked through every dorm. Of course apart from the ones for the older students as shes 18. She was hoping for a triple, or possibly a quad.....but the majority aren't air conditioned. I'm not sure what many of the symbols mean on the floor plans but some have great big window additions giving a bit of extra space even in a double. The floor plans are quite different than when are offered at the community, and private colleges in the city we live in. But I'm hoping she gets what she would like, especially near a bathroom 🤣 since only the suites have those which are out of our price range. I just will have to ask her if she knows which area/side would be preferably....and its possible she would be in the honors program. But doesn't have to live in an honors themed dorm correct? I'd have to look at her transcripts again but she already has a large majority of college credits since she's been taking those classes for years. (I'm not bragging, this is all confusing for me, the honors program has 3 classes it says she'd be required to take but I believe she's already done the first, just trying to figure it out). She was originally supposed to go to another college but has decided to stick closer to home her first 4yrs. So things are changing quickly.
Also shes matched with a roommate online that they've been communicating together and have similar interests. She doesn't want a party girl/loud etc type, but someone more down to earth, and intellectual.
For anybody that is thinking of going to this school, please don't. People just party and drink on the weekends and my ability to get some sleep or schoolwork done is more often than not affected.
@@user-hk8px4pi3p If you want to party and get drunk all of the time, this is the school for you. Otherwise, if you are actually focused on academics and doing well in school, then look elsewhere.
Such good memories coming to my mind!!! Thanks 4 uploading the campus

She'll be majoring in biology, pre med. Does that matter as to a better dorm to apply for?
