Just beautiful! That Berg motor seems to pull nicely. And I loved the sound of the engine lid as it latched. So solid, so crisp. No small feat. Congratulationsand thanks for the documentation. Still lot's to do with those gates and bumpers and such, but WOW!
I drove one of those delivering goods in LA in 1964 on the freeway. Never got out of the right lane as traffic zoomed around me...what a nice job you did on it.

I bought a 62 single cab a few years ago, pearl white, white emblem, white bumpers, when l drove it home l did my first dukes of hazzard "yahoo" ever in my life, it was a life's thrill!!!

Add some Coker whitewall croslys, and safaris. I promise you, they will hound you at every stop. That's how I'm treated in my 59' combie with all safaris open on real wide whitewall crosplys barring big band jazz from the radio!! I love it. Cheers.

I have a modern Vw a 2006 Touareg 3.0 tdi which I must say at this point is one of the nicest cars I've owned . In my heart I know I need a VDub bus in my life . Discovered your Channel today and love what you have done with the single cab . I live in the U.K. . Please go check out what Wayne Allman did to his single cab . Look of Mental Breakdown on TH-cam . That was a scrapper too . It's probably the fastest Drag truck in the uk

This never was such a big deal for us country kids when we got junkers running. We just went at it and got it running again. We weren't never gotten no money for things like this so it was all for fun, you know. And we sure had fun!
